    Got our tv replaced for free 4 years after we bought it. The backlights went out. Setup an appointment. Technician came out and made the replacement super simple.

    Recently I called to have a service done on my TV that I got from Best Buy. They were quick to respond to my request, but how my TV wasn't able to be fix they helped me find a replacement one.

    I recommend always purchasing an extending warranty with any electronic/appliance you buy these days. It has paid off for me in so many ways, whereas I would be stuck with a huge repair bill or an unusable product. Best Buy has always been terrific about honoring their extended warranties, with with repair or replacement. The Geek Squad has always been easy to deal with, whether in store or home delivery and set up.

    My sister bought this tv and she bought a protection plan, she had no probloms with the tv but one time when she needed help they helped her with no hasstle

    I'm not a big fan of warranties on small electronics. But for a $400 TV . . . I bought the 2-year warranty for a little over $20. I figured that if something is going to go wrong with the set, it should happen within two years. Otherwise, it should be OK. Then it would be time for a new TV, anyway. My only interaction with the Geek Squad was on a carry-into-the-store computer problem. They diagnosed the problem and recommended a self-fix (which worked), and charged me nothing! I was impressed.

    Good to have this protection on my 77 inch tv it is a great warranty to have. Their plan through Geek Squad is awesome.

    If you are purchasing a high end tv or high end Home theater setup, get this. I am not a believer in protection plans for almost all products , but i have purchased this for Both of my LG tvs and i am so glad i did,. Had issues with burn in on my first LG and Geek Squad was extremely helpful and lived up to the warranty. EXCELLENT< THANK YOU BEST BUY!!!!!

    My brand new LG TV (December) went out and Best Buy passed me along to LG because it was still under warranty. Best Buy would have had this already fixed, but now my TV is out, has been for over a week and the terrible repair people that LG passed me off on are saying that MAYBE sometime next week it will be fixed. TERRIBLE! Why did I pay Best Buy extra to protect it if they are not doing anything about my dead TV? I sure hope that 2 year protection plans restarts itself once my TV is actually operational again.

    I felt comfortable purchasing the protection with my TV even though I haven't had to use it yet. I have used the Geek Squad for my computer in the past and they were very responsive.

    It's piece of mind to purchase this protection plan. TVs are much more complicated these days and require a skilled technician to remedy a problem. I've got this backing with this plan.
