Bought this for extra protection on a tv. haven't used it yet but good to have.

When covering electronics items that are difficult to have repaired getting the GeekSquad warranty is a must. For the cost it can save the purchase value of the item covered. It has allowed me to upgrade one of my items with a much more capable replacement.

I would definitely not buy a TV today without an additional warranty. TV’s today have so many features and issues can arise. Having a warranty for five years at a lower price is a great value. If it can’t be fixed , you can get it replaced. With a warranty, you have a chance for repair or replacement. Saves u from buying another unit. Best deal around. Best Buy Geeks usually are great.

I don't recall buying this protection in August 2020. But I have bought the Geek Squad protection several times before and am very very happy I did. Service is always professional and helpful, although the line and wait was long one time. It is a risk/reward calculation - is the coverage likely to be needed. Like other insurance, you never know - but when needed, it is worth the cost.

ALWAYS BUY FOR ADDITIONAL COVERAGE. I did not like that my purchased warranty outsourced my repair to a NON-Geek Squad company. They picked up and returned my television and the problem persisted. After I complained to GEEK SQUAD I received a call back they diagnosed the tv over the phone and I was instructed to return the television to Best Buy for a refund at the current listed price.

Everyone should get the 2 year geek squad protection for any television that they purchase from Best Buy, because you got that extra protection if something goes terrible wrong like the television screen goes totally blurry or if the television screen stops working all together! Just having that extra protection is definetly worth the extra money, so that you are protected, and don't have to throw away your television into the trash can! Everyone should be protected! I had the protection on my old TV and I'm glad I did! MY TV broke 4 months after my original warranty ran out. I called them and they came out to fix it, they had to order a new board. They came back 2 more times, and they couldn't fix it, so they gave me another brand new TV. tv

The store plan adds good coverage to the warranty.

Definitely worth the couple bucks to ensure any electronic that you pay $60+ for is covered. Never know when you might get one with a shorter lifespan than others and this makes that a non-issue! Have used it once before and they make it trouble free

I have purchased this protection for the last few years for my peace of mind. I've used them a few times, they installed my hardwired Ring doorbell, backyard Ring camera with the solar panel, over the range microwave, etc. All done well and professionally. Although I don't use them much, it's better to have them and not need them, than to need them and now have to pay out of pocket full charge.

I found out after first purchase to add Geek. Works wonderful from home did not have to go into store for one of my devices. But did on computer problem and they solved the problem very quickly.

Denise was very professional and knoedgeable about the claims process and made it very easy.

Great picture and quality would highly recommend it.

Geek squad is always excellent. I love shopping at Best Buy for their customer service.

Really nice for gaming and anything else I say any want looking for monitor or something similar this is the best.
