    I've luckily only had to use the replacement plan a few times, but the times I have were a lifesaver. The first major time I had to use Geek Squad was on a fairly pricy monitor I bought. Less than a few months later it decided to spontaneously burn/break mid project. That same day I got it swapped. Not a few weeks later the exact same issue happened. This time it was easy enough to get a credit towards a new monitor that has served me well. Without it there definitely would've been more difficulty. I've also had issues with my TV but I bought the protection plan. At first I thought it was just a remote issue. Got that replaced no issues. A few weeks later it turns out there was a defective memory issue in my TV so I called and was promptly given compensation.

    The agent who showed up to mount my TV and connected to all my devices, was amazing! She was so patient and very kind and not only sitting up the TV and my DIRECTV remote, but she loaded the fire TV remote to my iPhone, and completely set it up for me to her satisfaction. I am a quadriplegic, and she was very understanding of my need to be able to control the television from my iPhone. She spent quite a bit of time on setting my phone up because it was apparently quite an involved process. Normally I would attempt this on my own . But I am glad she did it for me. I wholeheartedly recommend the geek squad protection to anyone making a purchase from Best Buy.

    We bought this tv for a family member who is bed ridden. This TV provides exceptional viewing experience. Color is sharp and sound is great even without a sound bar. The remote is easy to use which is a blessing. The price was extremely good and of course we choice to add on the protection policy which was extremely cost effective but truly dont think we will need it. There were many add on options to view free for 30 days. A great idea to test things out and see if these things suit you. This transaction was easy and delivery was quick and on time. Samsung is the best product in this class and Best Buy has the greatest service. A very good experience.

    I will tell you right now I always recommend a five-year warranty when you buy a TV especially if you're a type of smart buyer that doesn't constantly buy like some Enthusiast or fomo having person. I

    Worth the Investment on your $$$ Electronics!!

    I researched for MONTHS and purchased the Samsung 65" Class Q90T Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV, Model: QN65Q90TAFXZA and I wanted the extended warranty for peace of mind on my investment. Best Buy has the Best Extended Warranties of ALL the retailers and I highly recommend them with your very expensive purchases. I service & repair TV's for a living and I know 1st hand how these things fail and it sure is nice when you have an extended warranty on your expensive investment. Especially if you have an LED Backlight failure. It is not cheap however I highly recommend it over an expensive out-of-warranty service cost. I do NOT want to have to service or repair my own brand-new $2k Q-LED TV should it fail within 5 years! On my other cheaper bedroom sets I did not purchase a warranty. But I highly recommend them on your higher-end more expensive purchases!

    im really glad i buy the extended warranty as you never know what will happen in the future and if your like me you dont have alot of money to throw around at times. so its good to pay a little more now then alot later when you may have to pay a whole lot or be out whatever it is at the time. personally think its worth it as the one year warranties are usually very limited and if u dont find ur item under their exact perimeters then you cannot make a claim.

    I have nothing but GOOD things to say about the Protection Plan!! I'm not guaranteeing this will happen for everyone but it sure worked for us! We bought the 5 year plan on our previous 75" TV and when there was about 4 months left on the plan I noticed dark lines coming down from the top of the screen. Geek Squad came to the house and decided the panel was going out. It was also determined that the due to the TV being almost 5 years old a new panel would not be available for replacement. We connected with the most awesome young lady who walked us through our options and she also researched a new TV for us. We decided to go with a 77" Sony OLED because she said it had very few problems with 'burn-in'. Here's the best part....the Protection Plan credited every single penny of our purchase 5 years prior and we were able to put it towards the Sony. You just couldn't ask for anything better than that! The Plan is not cheap but it paid us back 7 times value! Protect yourself with the plan. You may never have to use it but, if you do, you'll be glad you bought it.

    After having a large tv fail in less than 2 years and having purchased such a program prior to this purchase I would not buy a tv without an extended warranty! And this time added a power surge addition!!

    Geek Squad saved the day

    Our 1 year old Insignia TV lost the picture. I was fortunate to have purchased the Geek Squad Protection. The technician came to the house, assessed the issue and ordered a part. He assured us that he would return the next week and install the new part. When he came back to install, the TV failed. He promptly said "You get a new TV". He gave us a voucher for a same/similar TV. We had to return the dead TV. We promptly went to the Best Buy store, turned in the dead TV with the components, and they directed us to the TV dept. We found the same TV, one year newer, and completed the transaction. When we brought it home and set it up, everything loaded up from the Amazon account, and we were able to enjoy the evening. We recommend the Geek Squad, they were very professional and very accommodating to our needs.

    I have been a long-time customer. My tablet was damaged I opened the package and dropped it, screen cracked and the service I received went so smoothly. I glad I had ins. coverage, but your geek squad took care of my purchase. I give them a 4-star rating because there's always room for improvement. Other than that, I'm very satisfied with the service provided to me. Sorry, I did not take pictures before and after of my tablet. Sircierly. MR CALVILLO
