I bought a Samsung TV in 2013. I extended my Geek Squad Protection plan before the 2 year mark expired. Thank goodness I did because the next year (2016) after extending the protection, a weird vertical line appeared on the TV screen. Called Geek Squad... so stressed out about it thinking the worst like they won't honor the protection, it's gonna take long to process a new TV, etc. They got somebody right away to look at the TV, told me it has to be replaced, got a call from corporate for pricing... my TV was $2,500.. 3 year depreciation later, they were willing to give me one for $1,500 either get a TV for that amount or pick a more expensive TV and they'll minus $1,500 from the expensive TV. I think it was fair. I didn't think I was jacked or anything. 3 years later, the TVs were more advanced and hi-tech. They gave me the pricing of what my tv with same specs would have cost in current times. I opted to get a more current version of Samsung TV (more expensive) and just pay the difference. Also got a 5 year protection plan this time around.

Greatest thing I decided to get, I wouldn’t trade it

I haven’t had to use the service yet, and only felt I needed it due to the nature of OLED screens. Hopefully if the time comes I need to use it, there won’t be any additional problems.

The protection for my tv was a good choice. So far Haven’t had to use it

The warrant is a great to have you know you are well protected

I am satisfy with warranty service. Really help me a lot with the gift card as credit.

Worth it especially since appliances are but built to last anymore

So let me share my agony. Purchased my 23 yr old Daughter a 65” TV for Christmas. It was really for my 1yr Granddaughter…SHHHH! Well I mounted it on the wall, of course, and within a month or two they moved into another apartment without the roommates. Before place was remodeled for them they spent 3 weeks at her In-Laws. Well I moved them both times and when TV was turned on again after two moves, though seemingly perfect, the screen had apparently been pressed to hard at a single point and did not work. Not worth fixing. Bought her a 70” this time WITH THE WARRANTY!! Don’t make the same mistake I did :]

I love this Best Buy protection the best ever peace of mind

I opted for an extra two years of protection and I've read great reviews from other customers that used these guys. Definitely add protection to any electric device, it will give you peace of mind just in case something went wrong.

Warranty is great to have. Replaced my TV that went out.I have had two TV’s replaced with the extended warranty. Just make sure they take the old TV with them.

Did a awesome job setting me up, and very polite and knowledgeable

TV I purchased had a bad board. They replaced the board at no cost, but still had issues. They were able to replace the TV with a brand new one (newer model) at no additional cost, and they even threw in another warranty for free!

Never known what can happen but with Geek Squad Service I know I'm covered.

I love Best Buy. Yeah had good quantity fast and friendly service. Good price yes I haven’t been to Best Buy in a long time. I love the shop y’all have good quality good service and I’m so excited to be with y’all. I have a little experience shopping at Best Buy I love it I’m so excited I bought my TV at Best Buy and I love it and the TV does everything that’s why I love the shop yeah have good service.

Needed to protect my purchase! I haven’t needed to use the service but glad to have it!

These guys are top notch and would recommend any customer who buys a new TV to buy the Geek Squad Warranty. They were very helpful in explaining the operating system of my 86 inch Lg Tv. Noland made some changes in my hookups to make the system easier to use. Made some adjustments to the picture quality and explained what he was doing so I would understand why he made the changes. Made changes so I could just use my Dish remote instead of using 3 remotes for the TV, Receiver, Dvd and streaming. Don't hesitate to buy the Geek Squad, its worth it for sure. Happy Viewing.

Seems I always get Geek Squad warranty n never need it but it’s better to get it n hav it n not need it than to not get it n then need it Better to b safe than sorry
