Never had to use it but was given extra bonus points when the term ended without use for my older TV. HAven't read all the way through the terms yet to find out if the still do that but no complaints so far. Peace of mind for a newer tv manufacturor.

Anything can go wrong, and typically it’s not even your fault! Sometimes life just happens and bam, you lose $400 because you didn’t pay the extra $20 for protection. Don’t be that guy.

Yeah, they do come with manufacturer warranty but the Best Buy protection goes above and beyond.. if you want to be covered get the plan!
