This T.V looks great but is extremely buggy I exchanged mine for the C1. The C1 is a lot better T.V

Geek squad located in the Yakima city's Best Buy has been a scam before. Took an Apple computer in for repair and they wanted to charge around $300 to fix it. It would also be about a 2 weeks wait to fix. The local computer repair shop fixed it for $60 in 2 and half hours... Geek Squad is a joke.

THey are helpful... Just takes time to get to an agent who then turns around and hands you off to another agent with long wait times.

Still have to pay for some repairs depending on the issue. Not really sure what the geek squad protection covers.

I added the 2 year plan. Unfortunately my little kid broken the screen and did have the additional protection for damage. If you have little kids buy the additional protection

Problem with these programs is price such high portion of purchase price. Also doesn’t cover universal remote programming which is only issue I have had with items purchased.

Our TV wouldn’t turn on after eight months, so Westinghouse refunded the purchase price. We had purchased the 5 year protection plan on the advice of a salesman in the store. We then made the purchase online. When the TV stopped working, Best Buy would not refund our entire purchase price for the plan, but would prorate it. How is this fair when we never used it and it didn’t take effect until the TV was over a year old? Worst custom service ever. Long hold times to speak to someone then reasonable requests and customer satisfaction not met.

Need to cover damage caused by the user it’s not fair I pay 1200 for tv then my baby throw something at it and Best Buy won’t cover that

Stop selling warranties if you do not intend on following thru when customers need help. This service is useless if you dont need it. I will never buy another tv from this horrible place!

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS TV. I purchased the 2 year Geek Squad Warranty and the tv died 8 days after the warranty expired. This tv should last more than 2 years and 8 days. How ridiculous!!! I have 2 other LED tv's that are Insignia brand that have been running over 10 years, this was an Insignia Smart TV. Best Buy wants to charge more to come out and look at it than I can buy a new tv for. When I do buy a new tv, I guarantee it will not be an Insignia or purchased from Best Buy. Also, every troubleshooting we tried did not work. The tv is dead.

Good plan but it doesn't cover anything if the screen gets cracked

Doesn’t actually kick in until the manufacture warranty expires so you basically lose the amount your tv is warrantied by the tv company

have had this on other things, actually very good coverage if something does happen (hopefully not)

The hold time to reach the geek squad is too long and makes you not want to call.

Thought i made a great purchase with you guys and the protection plans but when contacting geek squad they were rude and didnt try to help my solve my tv repair against accidental damage. If cracks are not covered they should state it on the warranty so be wont get it. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!

Purchased the two year protection plan and fortunately never had to use it! If you feel safer with knowing you have the protection for your large investment, then purchase the plan.

We purchased the service for a laptop purchase. We did it to allow for existing data from replaced laptop to be transferred by Geek Squad. Went ok other than we were incorrectly told that Microsoft office could be moved. Had planned on purchasing a desktop to replace a Windows 7 but after discussions about simply replacing operating system, decided to get a new computer elsewhere. Would not purchase service again.

Protection for TV and peace of mind for myself. Odd this costs less than 2-year protection for earbuds, though.

Taking a long time to get me a new one but they did have being on phones for a long period time and almost 2weeks finally took care of me.
