I always purchase the extra warranty and dont have any complaints. On my last tv purchase, i had to use the warranty because the tv started to have issues. Long story short the part did not fix the issue and the tv was no longer being sold so i got a partial credit for the tv. Something is better than nothing and this was after the 12 months but still within the 2 year warranty.

Best Coffee Maker EVER!!!

I liked it so much that I sent one to my brother in Texas! It has EVERYTHING you need in a coffee maker: hot water dispenser, frother, pod ability, filter for ground beans ability and most importantly, my 81 year old technology challenged mother can use it with ease!

Getting a replacement was very easy!

The part was going to cost more than replacing the tv so we were given the option of a replacement or store credit for the amount we paid four years ago. We also had the option of buying a new protection plan for the new tv. Geek Squad phone support was very easy to work with getting this set up. We'd definitely recommend this!

I was specifically interested in the 4K tvs' with 120hz refresh rate for under $600. This Vizio was on sale & $30 less than what Wal-Mart priced for& I got the geek-squad protection since I got a baby on the way & there may be possibility of breakage in the first few years. But with that protection, all I have to do is bring it to the store to resolve my problem rather than shipping it to a repair center & waiting weeks..Plus this option was the best deal Landon was able to find & I was able to physically preview before buying. I'm thrilled to enjoy the modern perspective of entertainment & thank Landon & the team for making my experience above & beyond.

If history repeats, I am prepared
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In the past when I purchased my Samsung tv, my old one I just replaced, I purchased the extended warranty for that one. When it developed lines on the picture, within a day someone came out. checked the tv and was not fixable, I was given a number to call and a replacement arrived a few days later. Given the price for the extended warranty and the final outcome, it was well worth it. I purchased the extended warranty again for this tv, for "just in case". It is a decision I feel that is best for me.

Extra protection never hurt

What a Great TV!

I can feel the floor shake in my apartment when explosions or any big boom sound is made in a movie or playing my PS5 games. Having a 65" TV of this quality in my living room feels so good. I made a great purchase. If you love playing video games this TV is definitely worth purchasing. I also love listening to music on it. The sound quality like I mentioned is amazing.

Between defects, wear and tear over time, or bad products overall, the warranty has been very helpful. Between getting my money back, exhanging, or getting store credit, it honestly is one of the only reasons why I even shop at Best Buy.

Frustrated!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just purchased a new Sony 75'' tv and the 2 yr extended Geek Squad warranty. Brought it home myself. They wanted 200.00 buck's to deliver and set it up. I got a friend to help with unboxing and set up. " It takes two people to unbox and set up this big tv. " Out of the box the new Sony TV has a bad Pixel. Red dot with a line all the way across the screen. First, I was asked to bring it back in for exchange myself? Of course I said no, I purchased the "Geek Squad Warranty ". They told me if I had any issues they'd come to my house and fix it.! Long story short. Even though I purchased the " Geek Squad Warranty " where they said they would come out and fix my tv at my house for no charge,... they said because it's still covered by the manufactures warranty they would have to send it back to the manufacturer for repairs! Could take weeks. They will exchange it and deliver me a new tv at no charge and set it inside my house and pick up the old new tv but that's it. I will be responsible for unboxing and setting up the new tv again myself and disposing of the big box and all of the packaging. Also, today is the 4th of July 2024, my appointment for receiving my replacement TV is 7/17/24, 13 day's from now and the the so called NARROW appointment window on the 17th is 7 am to 7 pm.!! Really?? Lol. I need to be available for 12 hours? Is the best we can do? I'm glad I have the warranty or I'd have to box this thing back up and return it myself but I'm disappointed that I got a defective tv, that's on Sony. I paid big buck's for what I expected to be a top Quality product! I'm also disappointed that Best Buy won't just come out and fix this TV, that's why I paid for the warranty! So I wouldn't have to go through all of this hassle with returns, exchanges etc.
