,,,,That's what they say right ? Well, After spending $3,300 on a brand new Television , I didn't want to spend another $600 on top of that for Insurance. But then I thought about it,,,,,,,,,,,What if this Television had electrical issues,,,,,,,,say,,,,,,1 year and 2 months from now ??? What would I do then ? I mean it would be outta warranty then. All I know is that for spending THAT KIND OF MONEY , I want to make sure that I'm covered way past the manufacturers warranty,,,,,,So I bought the 5 year plan,,,,,,,,,,,,,Also came with a piece of mind for the next 5 years. Don't you end up regretting NOT getting it.

I have not had to use it thankfully so hard to rate but the price was good

Protection for any expensive device is worth it period. Dont over think it.

Haven't had to use the Geek Squad Service on an item in a while but when I have I've been pleased with the customer service.

I purchased the 5 year Geek Squad Protection but cancelled the service because I returned the television that I bought it for.

the process was straight forward, my only complaint was that it was required by bestbuy to have ppl come out to my house to retrieve my broken tv and deliver the new one. I was more than happy to take it back to the store myself and swap it same day, but bc of bestbuy policy, I had to go 2 days without a tv.

Brandon and ? were very professional and efficient. Excellent communication and instruction.

Excellent service and coverage. Always available to facilitate the claims process.

The mounting of the TV went smooth. Technicians were on time and cleaned up their area after mounting the TV

Geek Squad is also there to help and assist you with anything you need for any device

I’ve had extremely good luck with extended warranties. I’ve gotten a replacement for every item I purchased the plan for! The one TV I didn’t get one for, just burned me! It was a top of the line Sony and the repair estimate was $10,000.00!!! Buy the warranty. It’s worth every penny.

I'm so glad best buy offers warranty on their items. I always purchase the extra warranty and dont have any complaints. On my last tv purchase, i had to use the warranty because the tv started to have issues. Long story short the part did not fix the issue and the tv was no longer being sold so i got a partial credit for the tv. Something is better than nothing and this was after the 12 months but still within the 2 year warranty.

It has saved my peasant existence of a life from spending an absurd amount of money for any product. Between defects, wear and tear over time, or bad products overall, the warranty has been very helpful. Between getting my money back, exhanging, or getting store credit, it honestly is one of the only reasons why I even shop at Best Buy.

First I bought a top-of-the-line LG TV and I didn’t get a warranty because I didn’t think I would need it with a beautiful TV as that. sure enough 11 months into the TV the back light tube went out. And it would’ve costed more to fix than it would be to buy a new one so I bought a new TV this time I paid $80 for five year warranty which I thought was stupid for doing until 4 years later when the TV broke and thank god I got that $80 Warranty cuz it saved my but. so if you’re going to spend all that money on a nice TV I can promise u it’s well worth every extra penny to get a warranty. Even if just for peace of mind alone

Great protection plan specially for TVs as it covers everything

The Geek squad service is great. Definitely a must have when purchasing electronics.

This is a little tricky and almost sneaky. If you buy some thing on the website, you have the option of adding a five-year geek squad plan. Nobody tells you that when you’re in the store and you buy a Samsung item. You are only allowed to get Samsung care as your warranty. It is one year less and $10 more. God help you if you try to cancel it and buy the other warranty. You will be on the phone for 13 hours like I was.
