In today" high tech era, one cannot go wrong buying protection plan for expensive gadget like high end TVs

If i buy anything over $350.00 i usually go with the 2 year protection plan because i don't want any problems down the road. Just get it to be safe. No regrets!!!

Replacement rules are a joke! My Samsung 50” QLED TV started showing black lines at the bottom so naturally I called geek squad to troubleshoot. The Geek Squad guy (who was very nice) determined I was not at fault and that it was a quality control issue so the tv needed to get replaced. He got in touch with the “GEEK SQUAD EXHANGE SUPPORT TEAM” and facilitated the exchange process. When I followed up with the Geek Squad Exchange Support Team, I was initially assured by the representative that I would be refunded the amount that my tv was worth or at least an amount that was very close to the original price that I paid. THAT WASNT THE CASE! I was shortchanged over $120 short of the original price of my tv. I WAS LIVID because that is so illogical to me! I asked if my particular tv that would be getting replaced (50” samsung QLED) had depreciated since I purchased it last year. The representative said that the shortchanged refunded price was not due to depreciation. The reason was they use a moronic and flawed computer program that determines the comparable price to be refunded. Once my tv’s info was entered into this computer program, it turns out that my particular tv “doesnt exist anymore” so the next random tv with so called “matching specs” had to be chosen. Well this sucks because the tv chosen was $200 cheaper than my tv and didnt even have the same specs! That is not comparable or close to the original price like the rep assured me. So Im out over $120. AND CHECK THIS OUT! A newer version of my QLED tv WITH THE EXACT SAME SPECS is currently for sale now on Best Buy’s website. And guess what? It is exactly the same price I paid for my “nonexistent” model! THAT IS WHACK BEYOND COMPREHENSION! This is the last time I buy a tv from Best Buy because their contractual terms for replacements need to be completely REVISED! If your tv breaks & you choose this service plan, you better pray your particular tv still exists if it breaks. If not, you face being CHEATED OUT OF YOUR MONEY!

I never buy extended warranties, but the TCL was a new brand for me, and I was being cautious. I’m not unhappy with buying GS, but I have not had need to use it yet.

its always a great idea to purchase the geek protection just in case you ever need them they are very helpful and fast

Is good that was able to add 4 years service to our tv.

The cashiers was very Helpful and Courteous. The team member was Very Polite and Helpful when assisting me in loading the purchase to mr vehicle.

We try to get protection on everything necessary. You never know when you need it.

This comes in handy. I've never been disappointed with replacement or service.

Had many issues over the last couple of years I've used this service. it's not great, however, the instore service, especially Matt...has been very good because at least they try.

One of the best warranty services on the market if they cannot fix your issue in 30 days you're entitled to a full replacement of whatever product.

Having this warranty gives me great peace of mind. Fortunately, I have not had to use it. I have had other warranties from Best Buy and live up to their word.

Looks like it is worth the $ to get it. I usually don't go for extended warrantees but this was too good to pass up.
