    Agents came in assessed my TV and because it was under created a ticket to have it exchanged for a working and newer set. I purched an extended warranty for the new TV as well. It is a financial lode saver.

    Thomas and Arthur were the Best Buy representatives that we have dealt with since February 4 other than our sales person, Kiera. They were efficient, professional, and shared their knowledge of all the products. They were patient with us explaining different phases of the TV and the remote. Thomas was Especially very helpful. Kudos to Best Buy for having both men on your team.

    The protection plans are great and the geeks are the best. The other Best Buy customer service personnel (telephone) are horrible, it is bad enough that if Best Buy does not fix that aspect of their customer service it will start to (if it already hasn't) turn customers away. I have already sold all my BB stock due to I am not sure that they care enough to fix what is broken.

    I highly recommend geek squad warranty for tvs. They go above and beyond. I have dealt with other services and geek squad is up there with the best with little to no hassle.

    If I could give it 0 stars I would. I bought a 77" Sony OLED from them a year ago. My previous TV had been broken by a Toddler visiting my house so I asked the sales associate if their protection plan covered a cracked screen like a toddler throwing a balloon weight through the TV. He assured me that it would. Well... we moved and guess what, after taking all the precautions to make sure the TV did not suffer any damage, the screen cracked. Best buy now states they don't cover cracked screens on Sony OLEDs... I was conned into buying an expensive warranty for the sole purpose of accidental damage on a TV that is now useless. Beware, their sales associates don't know what they are talking about. Looking at it in the best light the sales associate sold us the wrong protection plan. In the worst light, he conned us into a membership with basic protection plan to get a bonus or some kind of kickback when what we wanted was the protection plan with accidental damage coverage.

    Listen, I won't buy anything electronic without some assurance I'm going to have an exit strategy for when it goes kaput. Geek Squad by far has the best plan in the industry and has saved me from having to shell out major dollars more times than I can count on one hand. Its always straight-forward. You call, tech comes out and assesses the issue. They fix it or replace it... PERIOD!

    Definitely recommend the protection plan. You never know what can happen in 5 years and to know that you are covered is a great piece of mind. I got a full refund for a television that I purchased after just 3 years of using it. Worth the investment.

    Have to buy new service agreement when TV replaced

    After we finally reached the Geek Squad, things went well. We couldn't reach them by phone, but finally did online. Despite spending a long time in our home trying, they couldn't fix our 65" Samsung TV. We had lost the right side of the picture. When they left, we had no picture at all. We had purchased the 5 year service agreement and lost the picture after 2.5 years. it was replaced with a comparable TV, but we were upset that we had to buy a new service agreement, with no credit left for 2.5 years, & that was $170!

    Good price for open box. Nice 42" fire TV. Using it in our RV when traveling. Picture quality is very good and size is not to big for small space.

    We bought a TV with the five year Geek Squad warranty almost five years ago. It developed white spots on the screen. We contacted Best Buy and they determined that it wasn't economical to repair and allowed us the full purchase price toward a new TV. It took a few weeks due to the virus problems but the entire procedure went smoothly. Naturally, we bought the five year protection on the new TV.
