Anytime I purchase anything over $500 I always purchase the extra protection plan. This way I know if something happens to my tv in that 5 year duration. Everything is covered as far as replacement parts, labor etc....

My review of this service is positive. They helped repair (resolve) an issue with the screen even after my moving it and having that piece of mind when purchasing a $5K TV is important. I know all of the reviews tell you that the geek squad protection is a scam and just a way for the store to line their pockets, but when you spend this much on a TV it is worth it and much easier than going though manufacturers warrenty. If I had listened to the critics then I would be without a working Tv right now

Got Geek Squad for my LG Air Conditioner because the previous one on wheels broke after 2 years. Warranties like this are necessary with AC's that breakdown after a short time

I had the 5 year protection plan on my GX 77” oled and had issues with the tv. Geek squad tried a repair which didn’t work so they replaced the tv with a new G3 77” oled. I would recommend this plan (which I got again on this tv)

My last tv screen went black and I thought I was doomed. Here goes another $1000 on a tv. When it wasn’t even that old! But I have to thank my past self for buying geek squad. They were able to order parts and have them shipped. We were serviced during the pandemic and they took all the precautions! Ultimately my TV wasn’t salvageable so I was given a credit toward my next purchase! High recommend to everyone.

Excellent customer service. Delivery and set up plus removed old set. Knowable technical support and helpful staff. Only complaint is you are on hold for 10-15 to get a Customer service representative and then another 20 minutes to take to Geek Squad which is in an other country like Gatamala. What can we not talk to store?

I will always get a warranty on anything I buy from Best Buy

Everyone should get the 2 year geek squad protection for any television that they purchase from Best Buy, because you got that extra protection if something goes terrible wrong like the television screen goes totally blurry or if the television screen stops working all together! Just having that extra protection is definetly worth the extra money, so that you are protected, and don't have to throw away your television into the trash can! Everyone should be protected! Protecting my investment on 4K TVs is a must, and purchasing the Geek Squad's 5-year warranty on each TV is a no-brainer. I did this in the past and it totally paid off when my much older set had issues before the protection plan was over. They replaced my entire set with a brand new one years ago. It pays off in the long run, trust me!
