I normally do not purchase extended warranties. However, I have purchased a few now at Best Buy. I became a firm believer when a camera was accidentally dropped by my daughter. Camera was fixed, and good as new. When it came time for the 5 year purchase, it was to cover a large screen TV. My savings on the TV more than covered the cost of the plan. And for what the TV cost, it was very affordable peace of mind. May not use it, but I have it.

This is a great (refundable) option if you want protection. Bought it for my last TV and when we relocated and left the TV behind, Best Buy prorated my refund and I got a good chunk of change back, so my warranty fee wasn't wasted on something I no longer owned! Great way to go for peace of mind protection.

I never buy anything with out the warranty it always pays for itself later on.

Imagine red lines down the tv and you just realized it is a new 80" Enough said Best Buy will make sure that new investment works well beyond you paying it off. I always use my Best Buy credit card. If you look at my photo, you can imagine something going wrong past the manufactures alloted time. With my 5 year I know that for 5 years our family will have a working 65" that if something happens Best Buy will pick it up and bring us back a working unit for 60 months.

For the price, this purchase is a great piece of mind.

A no brainer for OLED TVs as it covers screen burn in (image retention)

I have a few questions, what is the price of the item, are you expecting it to last awhile, and is it a good product if you checked those boxes then you should get a warranty {my opinion of course}

Geek Squad Protection was well worth the money! It comes with little extras that you just don't think about. They not only installed my TV(believe me, the owner's manual left out a lot of steps), but they hauled away my old TV (there is normally a fee for this). The agents were knowledgeable, courteous, and took the time to explain all of the features of my new TV.

With the cost of UHD 4K TVs rising, we could justify the cost of a 100% 5 year warranty through the GEEK Squad to give us peace of mind. We had the recent experience of another brand TV dying completely 2 months after the manufacturers warranty expired but was able to get a new 4K 60" TV at no cost to us under our extended warranty.

They cleaned up everything after they were done no fuss just hard work

This is a great television set and I would recommend it to anyone seeks the maximum in image quality. Samsung's nano-crystal technology allows for vibrant colors and great brightness. The TV itself has wonderful software features such as SmartHub which allows for apps including Netflix, Hulu, etc. For the gamers, this TV offers an amazing refresh rate meaning that you will be able to have an immersive gaming experience without experiencing any issues, especially with those more fast paced games.

Feel comfortable knowing we have tech support and repair capabilities. Good value

Best warranty in the business. Glad I am able to use this if something happens to my appliance. Worth buying.

Bought my dad a new TV and there was no doubt that I was going to purchase a 2 year protection plan. I have purchased a tv in the past and did not get a protection plan, after my 1 year warranty was up I started to notice screen burn in...needless to say there was nothing I could do about it. Not no more, that will never happen to me again. A MUST HAVE!

The protection plan was explained to us and how it worked and it was a no-brainer as far as we were concerned. We purchased this as well along with our TV.
