With today's electronics I wouldn't even take a chance without this warranty.(2-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection ) . If something goes wrong with your purchase during that time they will take care of it. I myself will get the extended warranty when it comes up.

The Geek Squad has been there for every and any problem I have had with any purchase from Best Buy. It is easy to make an appointment with them and they always meet the scheduled time.

Bought the 5 year warranty when I purchased my 40" UHD TV. For some reason, there developed a problem with the TV. I took it to the Geek squad, and they shipped it to Atlanta for repairs. One week later, it was returned, working flawlessly! Best insurance I could have bought!
