I think it is a 50/50 thing when it comes to warranty and Geek squad. The tv is expensive under a good discount. Getting a warranty is not a bad idea. Seriously what if…! Just like to be on the safe side.

Don’t risk it. When you buy a TV most of us expect to have them for multiple years because it’s an investment. Get the warranty and protect yourself for the future of your TV especially if you’re buying OLED because it covers Burn In.

It’s a warranty! And it’s for 5 whole years! I mean, it’s pretty self explanatory, but if you get an oled tv it is important to note that this does cover the burn in effect that sometimes happens from static images.

The geek squad protection plan is great. They installed all my appliances and came back to adjust my refrigerator when i had problems getting it to the correct height

Got the 5 year protection because my previous TV died shortly after 3 years! Thankfully I have not needed the Geek Squad but the one experience I did have went well and was very professional.

Great warranty feature when something is not your fault. The only thing that does not cover is if its your fault such as dropping something or breaking it on purpose, but sure is helpful with laptops to avoid internal system breaks.
