When we purchased our Sony, we bought this, too. The installers were professional, setting up our TV in a quick manner. Their instructions for navigating through it were complete as of today.

I bought this protection for my new tv. Fortunately the tv never broke so I didn't have to use it. I think for super expensive purchases you might want to go this route, but otherwise I would pass. Most new items come with one or two year warranties anyways.

I had purchased a Geek Squad protection plan for my desk top computer. Computer failed and I took it in to Geek Squad for observations. They said it was beyond repair and gave me credit to get another computer with NO HASSLE. That is definitely a great deal.

I have not yet had to call upon the Geek Squad; after all, the TV set is just out of the box. It was time-consuming and overly complicated to set-up the TV, but I did not think my Geek Squad protection plan covered set-up; and it doesn't. Without the 5-year Protection Plan I would have passed on this major purchase. Not yet having the need to summon the Geek Squad, I am not in a position to evaluate their service by way of either speed or competence. I hope never to have to summon them.

I always purchase extended warranty with Best Buy The Geek Squad they are absolutely the best excellent customer service I've never had any problems with purchasing an extended warranty with Best Buy.

I have purchased this protection plan for all other products that it was appropriate for. I had to use it once. It worked as advertised; no hassle or problems. I will continue to take advantage of of the protection plan for appropriate future purchases.

This is very good I bought it in case something happens to my TV. I used it one time because I had a question about my TV. Geek squad called me back right away and gave me advice to fix the problem.

Great if your tv goes out bad if it doesn't lol wish it covered more like if the software becomes buggy over time after updates but sadly it doesn't

I've always said make sure you get the protection plan on your devices I trust me when I tell you even though it could be a little expensive for to be cheap but it's definitely worth it in a covers pretty much everything if something happens with it

I installed everything that I purchased on 6/4 and 6/5 myself (TV and soundbar) have not had any problems.

Highly recommend purchasing this extra coverage. Makes perfect sense if and when anything were to go wrong with my new tv after the original warranty expires.
