I haven’t had to use it yet but I had to buy it just incase. Lol

The 5 year replacement plan is by far the best option. Hdtv's are going to keep falling in price but i doubt that in 5 years ill be able to buy a 60in hdtv for $180.

I'm finally writing a review for this tv. I had a thunderstorm about a few months after purchase and the quality of the tv hasn't been the same. I reached out to best buy to come fix my tv and just like most of you said, I had to contact Hisense to come out. because of the Manufacture first year warranty. Three tv specialist have been to my home and nothing has changed. The picture isn't sharp/clear at all anymore. I was told that I have to deal with this tv until after the one-year warranty is over. I couldn't believe I had to wait this long to enjoy my tv. Withing this timeframe I went back to best buy and brought another 85-inch tv which I'm happy with. I agree with one of you said, why did I pay for a 5-year warranty when it really a 4-year warranty? My one year is coming up, and I hope best buy can take care of their loyal customers. But I wouldn't recommend this tv for anyone. The worst tv I ever brought.

Had issues with sound on new TV and Geek Squad came to the house and turned out to be settings on Directv so technician changed and then even showed me some neat features of the new TV didn't even know were there.

We have used Geek Squad for a number of things so far and they have always done a good job.

Glad i got the 2 year protection my remote broke on my tv and they replaced my remote

With new products being made cheaper this is a guarantee you will have a working product.
