Haven't needed to use for my TV, but have had it for other items where I did and process was surprisingly easy. I always buy Best Buy's extended warranty on larger items for piece of mind.

I recently purchased a Samsung 65" LED 1080 P Smart TV on an Open Box special. Someone brought it back because it didn't fit, but it was perfect for my needs. Additionally I purchased the 5 year Geek Squad Protection plan because 1) The TV is on a lot, and 2) It would cost a lot to get it fixed. So I thought this would be a prudent expense.

The Best Buy protection plan is a must have item when purchasing anything major . In life we know that things seem to break down after a few years and Best buy GS plans are great to have when your 1 year warranty has ended. it will replace or replace

Their warranty coverage for tv's is the best on the market. It does cost alot more than average. But you get alot more coverage than you would with other companies. If you are worried about burn in on OLED panels or anything like that you should get the extended warranty.

Recommended for any purchases just for extra protection
