Fast response to service calls . The Geek squad tech was fast and very concerned for my technical issues with my TV . Also very knowledgeable .

I am extremely disappointed with the handling of my recent return attempt under the Best Buy Protection Plan. Despite the product being defective and covered by my plan, the store’s general manager refused to process the return, claiming he did not observe the issue I described. I also explained that I could not leave the monitor at the store since I needed a replacement immediately to complete my work, yet I was offered no professional support or resolution. It is troubling how easily these protection plans are sold, yet when customers attempt to use them, the process feels dismissive and unnecessarily difficult. This experience leaves me questioning the value of the program and the commitment to customer care.

Geek Squad is very much worth it if you need help setting a device up or mounting a tv! Also are reliable when you want to make a claim for a device.

I have not had to use this protection product but purchased it based on Best Buy's overall reputation and good personal experience in Best Buy stores. I believe it is fairly priced for the coverage provided.

I always buy the 5 year when purchasing my TV's. Every time my TV's die I am able to replace it which is wonderful. The only thing I don't like is the fact that the department is closed on the weekends if you want to get your transaction completed. I had to call that Monday to let Geek Squad know what was going on and you have to wait for a Best Buy card via UPS next day air by 5pm. That was the only draw back for me.

They were very helpful installing my TV! Very quick service and mindful of my home.

The additional insurance is always good to protect your purchase specially, if it’s a large one

Always opt for the 5 year plan. Units tend to fail after 3 years. The cost to replace it goes up as well. This coverage keeps the ouchies away when replacing items.

Always always always buy the Geek Squad protection plan when buying anything that has to do with electronics, kitchen or car stereo from Best Buy. These plans help insure that you can always get help when something happens or goes wrong.

When it comes to buying expensive electronics, I have learned to add the option of additional warranty protection. It's cheap when added at the time of purchase, and it gives me peace of mind to know I'll get prompt and professional service conducted in my home. The Geek Squad Protection option is a great value.

I have had a previous geeks Squad plan and when my TV had issues they handled it in a timely manner and gave me the cost of the tv back since it could not be fixed

I'm glad I bought the service plan on my Sony TV. It stopped working and I replaced it with a Samsung almost for free. I was very happy about that!!! I wish the remaining years of the old plan could transfer to the new plan, but they don't.

Got a 2 year warranty on my sons tv. He had a seizure and he fell on the tv which caused it to crack n they hindered the warranty even tho it was accidental.

I always always always get protection. I have a little one, plus pets, PLUS accidents are bound to happen more often when you DON’T have protection. So far Best Buy protection plans have helped tremendously, especially on my child’s tablet.

Tv is working well woth a great picture. Love the google format and all the channels it provides

I like Insignia TVs, they're a very good value, but I have had things go wrong after the one year warranty (and have seen others have problems with other value brands). The low price of the extended warranty looks like good insurance. Best Buy was good about handling a problem I had with an Insignia TV while still under warranty, so I have some faith that they will do right by me if I need to use this extended coverage.

I don't buy Geek Squad protection, but I guess if you did then it would be ok
