It's not the item but the Service I needed, really. I guess that's a problem all over but I did pay full price and they had no time for questions.

This plan is basically useless. I was not informed that in order to really fully protect my TV that I actually needed to purchase a Geek Squad Protection plan AND a plan to cover anything that might be interpreted as "accidental damage". I have a 55" Samsung (second one purchased from best buy) that I called Geek Squad about. They were easy to contact and quick to diagnose the problem remotely, but they stated that the problem with the screen was "impact damage" and would not be covered by my plan. I bought the plan in the first place because I had previously only physically moved another TV in a moving truck about 3 miles, and the TV's are so sensitive to any movement it totally killed the screen. It was not under warranty, so I found myself purchasing another one, only adding the protection plan to protect myself this time. Or so I thought. I am not happy with what I was sold here and should have been more informed about additional protection options to be truly fully covered.

Great price for 2 year geek squad protection plan.

Hope I never need it but then I will consider it a waste of money. A no win situation

love the specs the features the view but the streaming feature is to slow for such an expensive tv

I gave it 3 stars because they no longer cover accidental damage. Plus it’s still pretty expensive. Made the warranty more worth it. I know extended warranties are a waste of money. But I wanted it for the peace of mind because I spent so much on my tv. Hopefully Best Buy won’t screw me over when it comes time to use it.

Purchased the 2-year Geek Squad protection for my Samsung 50-inch TV haven't had no need to use it so that's why I'm only giving it a three star rating but if I did have any issues at least I'll be protected by The Geek Squad protection plan very reasonably price for the 2-year plan would recommend for peace of mind.

So the picture is nice enough, But i would like to give it a negative review because the tv bogs down and wont recognize the button being pushed on the remote, we have to unplug and replug it back in to get it working, The tv takes forever to go to an app to be able to watch anything. Sometimes it also looses connection to the wifi and cant do anything, and now as im talking to 800bestbuy to get a technician to come look at it under the 2 year protection plan i always buy with any tv or big purchase from Best Buy. They wont send anyone out because I have a 1 year manufacturers warrenty still in place until September 28. This TV IS TRASH and Best Buy changed the policy with the protection plans and now im stuck on hold the last 10 minutes waiting to do troubleshooting with someone ... UGH!

It covers a long time for sure on the apple watch I purchased.

Mind at ease with this new 5 year back up plan. Have until 2023 to repair my tv
