    It's highly recommended to buy yourself a protection plan when buying high end items. Cover your bases. Worth it!

    We were made to believe that this covers everything. When the tv we bought this warranty for had a physical accident it didn’t actually cover it when we were told that it covered everything. We now lost out on almost $800 for the tv. It wasn’t covered. They refunded the extended warranty

While Geek Squad Protection for televisions would cover things such as malfunctioning internal components and dead pixels from the result of normal use, it wouldn’t cover accidental damage from handling.     I have utilized geek squad in the past for a computer I had and they gave some issues last time, hopefully I will have a better experience if I ever have to deal with them again.

    It covered the 2nd tv as well but bestbuy didn’t even tried to fix it. Directly sent a store credit. It is just covered the part and they said new tv requires new service.

    Unfortunately my protection expired 2 months prior to my tv breaking :/. Wasnt sure if there was an email sent out to maybe renew if possible but i guess it was there for comfort while it lasted.

    Do not buy the geek squad warranty it’s pointless, my tv had a line showing on the tv and I had set an appointment for repair and they never showed up , I got another appointment a week later and my tv got in worser condition to where it didint show picture I had the tv for 2 month , when they finally came they said it was physical damage and they couldn’t due anything , even after I told them I had videos I took everyday since the problem started , if they would’ve came the first time this wouldn’t of been a problem do not buy this warranty it’s all a scam
