Even though you don't always need it, when you do it is so convenient. It's worth it to have the support of the store versus the manufacture.

The Sub os trash even at minus level amd 0 it vibrates the plastic so much sounds horrible so the sound is supposed to be too the line Sorry my Onn 65in qled has 5x sound But you can't beat the pitcher hands down but SOUND IA TRASH

Coverage got me a replacement tv. Unfortunately after 1.5 yrs of owning tv, I had to repurchase a new warranty because it was a full replacement. Some heartburn on that but I guess it could be worst without it.

After having this tv for over a month now, I am truly happy the way it looks and sounds. Picture is really great and the sound is very clear.

I haven't needed the insurance yet but. Geek squad is the main reason I shop at best buy love it!

Great to have a problem rotection plan. Piece of mind for the future

A must have in my book! You just never know what might go wrong & hopefully nothing will but at least you would have this if something did.

Purchased a TV less than 2 years ago, along with a 5 year protection plan. TV stopped working 2 weeks ago and we immediately called the Geek Squad to get it fixed. Spent over 30 minutes on the phone - took about 3 minutes to diagnose the problem (the main board), and the other 25 min was spent with the Geek Squad rep saying nothing - total silence(not sure what he was doing!). Rep said he needed to order part, would arrive on Wednesday (call made on Sunday) and Geek Squad would come the following Saturday to install. On Thursday, had no received part, so I called to find out that part order had been CANCELLED! No one bothered to call us, and I never would have known if I had not called them. Was FINALLY told (after calling 3 different times!) that the part needed was no longer available and that they would need to replace my TV. However, they needed the Geek Squad rep to come out to inspect TV first. So, 2 guys show up on Saturday - one guy is already on his phone with Best Buy, the other listens to us tell him what is wrong with TV. NEITHER GUY EVER LOOKS AT OR TOUCHES THE TV!! They tell the Best Buy rep 'yes, we inspected and it's the main board'. They basically took our word for it, which is great, but they could have (and SHOULD HAVE!) taken our word for it a week earlier and saved us the time in waiting! We are told someone would contact us within 3 business days to make an exchange. Got a call on Tuesday from a very nice lady (all the men I spoke with were VERY condescending - this lady, Mai, was great and a huge asset to the Best Buy team! ). She tells me she is sending me a gift card for the amount of the TV and we can take that card to purchase new TV, but we have to buy new protection plan at full price if we want that. She doesn't mention anything about an exchange, even though we were told several times by all the men that we HAD TO TURN IN OUR OLD TV. Finally got the gift card, purchased a new TV online and picked it up today. No one ever asked for old TV, so now we plan to purchase the replacement part (which we found online for under $50) and will have TWO TV's! This is the ONLY upside to the incompetency from Best Buy! Geek Squad dropped the ball on the very first phone call made - they should have told us the part may not be available and we would have followed up sooner and got someone out here sooner. Instead, we ended up without a TV for almost 2 weeks! That is insane! Why purchase a protection plan if you have to wait 2 weeks to get it fixed?!! I would highly recommend you buy an inexpensive TV and skip the protection plan! I actually had Best Buy folks tell me that the more expensive TV's have just as many problems as our inexpensive one (if not more!), so why buy the plan? Our experience was awful and I would NOT RECOMMEND!

I purchased an extended tv warranty from Best Buy for my mother-in-law so she dos not have to worry about a thing with her Sony tv at all.

Awesome that an extended warranty is available for clearance items.

I purchased the Geek Squad Tv protection for my Sony 75 inch tv. With so many thing that can go wrong with smart Tv's it was a no brainer.

This is a good service to have I have no complaints

It's extra protection for your expensive purchase. It's also relatively cheap and is always good to have. Better to be safe than sorry!
