Ok so shortly after I set up my new Sony 65” 4K tv I found that I couldn’t hook it up to my receiver because being an older model it had no HDMI connections. Before setting out to buy a new one I decided to call in the geek squad to see if there were other options. It just so happens that I did have an optical connection for a cable and he had one with him too. It enabled me to utilize my sound system but only to about 80% of its capacity because the HDMI cable Carrie’s so much more capabilities with sound. So I’m using it like this for now until I can get a new receiver. Trouble was I had to pay for the cable because it wasn’t covered.

Our first TV has multiple programs; Best Buy told us we could return it and come in and choose a new TV. TV problems was NOT Best Buy fault. Just one of those Lemons you can get from time to time. They sent Jonathan to our Home from the Geek Squad. We were very satisfied with his Service. Very thorough in explaining operation of our new TV. Feeling confident with the operating of our TV was his Top Priority. (They also take back the other TV that had problems). Best Buy is the place to buy any Electronics because of their Sales People and the Geek Squad, they are all very well trained.

Geek Squad service was fast totally fix my issue which was very important to me. He offer the membership to me which has saved me money important these days

The agent I talked to was very helpful and took care of everything. I was very happy to find I was actually able to get a new replacement TV at no cost. I only had to purchase a new Geek Squad protection plan.

I bought it because the price was very reasonable. Hopefully I'll never need it. The true test of how good it is will be if I ever try to use it.

Geek Squad services are always hassle-free, I never buy anything and don't attach a plan if its available, cause you never know. I also love I don't have to deal with a third party

I actually worked at bestbuy years ago and protection plans were a hard sell, they are extremely expensive and rarely used, but as an ex employee i also saw customers come in and buy their dream TV just to have a storm pop it a week later, or the most memorable story was a child pouring juice all over a tv as the mom was unpacking it. It’s a sad conversation to have when you know someone has been saving for something and it’s gone in seconds and theirs really nothing you can do. It’s like buying your dream car, wrecking it and taking it back to the dealer and asking for another.... I HATE BUYIJG PROTECTION PLANS but I do it every time now. One day one of these plans is going to pay for all of the plans I’ve ever bought.

Haven’t had to use it yet but it gives me a peace of mind knowing my product will be taken care of.

Agents were very helpful in helping me find my product and made sure everything went smoothly.

I’ve used Geeksquad on several devices for installation of simple things like a screen protector for my wife’s. I watch to them coming out to the house to fix a TV that was almost at a time practically brand new TV. The man said it lasted another eight years very good, highly recommend

The warranty saved me o this purchase and helped offset the cost of an upgrade later. 5 year warranty was money well spent.

Always get the GSP on TVs. ya never know how much you use them now and they arent built like appliances. appliances are built to last 10 years. but TVs arent, and TVs have alot more functionality and use so Id always get GSP on TVs/

It was very easy to replace the TV when it broke. I recommend buying the warranties because they are really worth it.

I really don't like the idea of needing additional protection beyond the warranty. But, on a HI-Def TV I felt it was best to buy it. The sale rep told me that Best Buy had recently lowered the price of their service plans and it did seem reasonable for five years. Even consumer articles are recommending a protection plan of new TV's with the expense and hassle of getting them repaired under warranty. I was told that to have LG repair it under warranty if needed be sent to them. If it's true of not, I have read that some plans do require you to ship it to them. A TV is too much trouble to attempt this with. In the last 8 years of flat screen ownership I've only needed 1 repair. It was in the last month of the first warranty I'd purchased and was a good experience.

This TV has the best picture of any tv I've ever owned. Even the sound is great. My only draw back would be the game mode. While it has to be in game mode for some fast moving games for the timing to work the picture doesnt look nearly as good. Only use game mode if the controls feel sluggish and it will corret them. Otherwise use the best picture you can and your game will never look better.

They mounted my TV with no problem. They took out all the packaging materials and TV box and hauled it off. They answered and showed me how to use the TV. Highly recommend them!

Figures out to be $10 a year, well worth it.As my other tv lasted 4 1/2 years.

Called them about a problem- ended up not being a technical issue, I asked him what he suggested I do, he told me and it worked. Great people to deal with
