I bought a Sony TV in 2017 and purchased a 5 year Geek Squad warranty. I thought the Sony TV would last a long time, but I decided to buy the warranty just in case. The TV suddenly quit working in May 2020. Best Buy sent a repairman out to check TV. It could not be repaired. They replaced it with a new TV. So glad I had the 5 year warranty. It's also nice to be able to call Geek Squad when I have any questions.

Geek squad is a must if purchasing electronics it really is a life saver if anything unexpected happens!!

My review of this service is positive. They helped repair (resolve) an issue with the screen even after my moving it and having that piece of mind when purchasing a $5K TV is important. I know all of the reviews tell you that the geek squad protection is a scam and just a way for the store to line their pockets, but when you spend this much on a TV it is worth it and much easier than going though manufacturers warrenty. If I had listened to the critics then I would be without a working Tv right now

Always recommend coverage for what you buy, never know what might happen!

I add the GSP or GSPR plans to just about every item I buy that offers them. At worst it is like a cheap insurance plan for my new item that I don't wind up using because the item held up great. At best they are there should something go wrong and I don't have to pay the full cost of a repair or replacement out of pocket.

Honestly can’t go wrong with the Protecrion Plan and the Geek Squad!

I hope I don't use this service but it seemed cheap to buy the insurance just to be safe.

This very much helps a lot when you have big purchases. You need to protect your products at all times and geek. Squad protection is very helpful.

The geek squad agents did a great job mounting my tv and hooking everything up plus a some basic training.

GS agents were patient, efficient, and made me feel confident they knew what I needed to get up and running with my system. My old laptop had 10+ years of family photos, professional files and my financial records. The device was dying a painful death but GS transferred all fills to new device.

Such a great deal! Five years of protection for our new 50" Insignia 4K TV with Amazon Fire HD built-in. We got a very decent price. When you pay $300 for a 50" 4K TV with a streamer and a whopping five year warranty, it is a deal! So using my own personal experience, if a TV lasts five years or more, it's paid for it's self. This warranty is a good deal to cover my cheap TV deal!

Have used this service several times for my computers and have had great success in resolving my issues that I have had with them. Using the remote service was great as I did not have to take my lab top in and wait for days before getting it back as the problem was able to be resolved remotely. Service is well worth the cost if you only use it a couple times.

Geek Squad rules! I always buy GS with my purchases because it’s better to be safe than sorry.
