If you spend the money and want peace of mind that your product will work then purchase the Geek Squad additional warranty. I recently had a tv replaced and it was great to see Best Buy value its customer with incredible service in replacing my tv.

So impressed with the Geek Squad! When our new TV when out, we called and they set up an appointment, handling it immediately! Explained if it couldn't be fixed, we would receive a new tv. Very courteous, prompt and efficient! Able to fix it no problem!

Perfect tv mount and good adjustability. Do buy this for perfect tilt and motion.

It covers quiet a few issues and considering I was buying a brand I didnt have earlier, this will come in handy.

Anytime I purchase anything from Best Buy I but the 5-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection. You never know what can happen and Id rather be safe than sorry.

Hope I never need it but know I can count on Best Buy Heek Squad if I ever have a problem

I had an issue with the TV remote. The staffer that assisted me was great; he was patient with my questions. Very friendly and professional. Was able to solve the issue immediately.

I always get my protection with Best Buy. Makes life so much easier.

The geek squad are fantastic!! My husband and I had the best team come to our home. They were very knowledgeable about their products and which would work great for our tv installation.

Hopefully will never have to use it. I always buy warranty. You never know what may happen.

Geek Squad Hardware plans are great. They cover accidental damage and normal wear and tear. They're stored on the Best Buy computer system. No need to jump through hoops with the manufacturer. Some items replaced right away; some go for repairs.

The employee could not provide a pamphlet and specifics on the warranty coverage. She just kept saying "we don't protect for product damage" meaning if we drop it, we deal with it. We were more interested in true coverage details and purchased without true knowledge of what all is protected like surge protection, damaged power cord, and internal issues like computer chip for Smart features. In part, insurance used to require documentation of coverage and exclusions, but they had absolutely nothing in writing.

having a piece of mind after purchasing a TV or any other electronic that that will be protected is a great deal for a consumer. I have had Geek Squad out to my home before to work on other purchases that needed servicing always top notch

Had a issue with previous purchased tv. Returned to store. Determined value was not worth repair. Received full credit purchase price towards a new TV. Will include geek squad for all my big purchases.

I bought protection for my TV, which is a higher end model. Best buy covers more than the manufacturer warranty. I don't expect I'll have any issues, but knowing I have the protection is nice just in case anything does happen.
