    Great TV, but definitely get the extended warranty. Mine just failed after 18 months. Thank goodness I still have GS protection. Otherwise I’d be out of luck.

    I purchased a 5 yr. protection plan and at 3 mos. of owning a new TV, already needed to use it. Poor quality TV, glad I bought the plan. Thankfully it includes in home service.

    been burnt in the past with so-called quality consumer electronics dying an early death sometimes just weeks after the manufacturers warranty expired..coincidence? never gonna happen again.

    I just lost three televisions to a lightning surge. If you live in Florida or states where lightning occurs frequently, the service plan offered is a must. It is very reasonably priced.
