    What else is there to say. Easiest warranty program I’ve had. I buy it with all my major purchases. I make those purchases at Best Buy because of it.

    Getting a hold of someone to help is a chore. Within a month of buying our new TV set it started acting up. When you call for assistance you’re calling out if the country. I don’t care about that , it’s just that when you can’t understand the person you’re taking to and your request to be transferred to The USA and get ignored, that’s frustrating . I believe the person on the other end is trying to help but then refusing my request is disrespectful . I went to the Best Buy near me and they would not take a service request, they said I had to call it in.

    IF YOU BUY ANY TV YOU MUST BUY THE GEEK SQUAD PROTECTION IT COVER FOR A FULL REPLACEMENT IF THEY CAN'T FIX IT

    I've purchased a laptop and a few TV's from Best Buy and always got the Geek Squad protection. The few times I've had to use it they were always very helpful and professional. No complaints!

    Geek Squad Service Plans

    Purchased this plan for myself and luckily I never needed it. However, I assisted my mother in purchasing a 65 inch 4K Samsung set the same year. She had some problems with the set several times. She called the Geek Squad at her local store and they quickly dispatched team members out to get her set sorted out. The last year of her plan, she had issues with the screen. Once again they came out but determined the set would need to be replaced. I assisted her with selection of a new set. She was more than pleased with their help and the new Sony replacement set. She received a brand new set better than the original one and even had enough credits remaining to get another 5 year plan of Geek Squad service. All of this without having to spend another penny! Geek Squad service plans are fantastic!

    I almost NEVER buy the geeksquad protection, but I bought an expensive television and I made the choice to purchase the plan. Glad that I did! About 2 years after my purchase a red line randomly appreared smack down the middle of the screen. I knew it was out of warranty and at the time I had almost forgot that I purchase the plan until I checked my email. I contacted the geek squad who ultimately determined that it could not be fixed. They replaced the whole tv for no additional cost! I received a brand new television AND an updated model. I was so satisfied that I purchased the protection plan again, a two year this time, but either one is worth the money!

    We got the 5 year warranty and it’s the best our previously purchased Sony kept freezing and they came out 8 times replaced everything and finally gave us a full refund! We were able to get a new tv and so far it’s been great!

    Defective TV, Geek protection won't honor

    Geek Squad protection is FOUL...!!!! I was told that the protection plan would start after the manufacturers warranty ended. Samsung gives a Minimum of 1 year manufacturer warranty. So I purchase the 2 year Geek Squad protection for approximately $250.00. in July 31, 2020. Samsungs warranty ended July 31, 2021....therefor, by what I was told by the Best Buy sale person, my Geek Squad protection should start July 31, 2021 and end July 31, 2023. When I called best buy to claim my protection...because the TV has a defect with pixels going dead....lots of pixels, so the best buy rep told me the plan expired ...GET THIS....BECAUSE THE GEEK SQUAD PROTECTION STARTED THE SAME TIME SAMSUNGS WARRANTY STARTS. WHAT SINCE DOES THAT MAKE TO HAVE A PLAN GOING WHILE IT'S STILL UNDER WARRANTY. AS I WAS TOLD WHEN PURCHASING THE TV THAT IT WOULD START AFTER THE MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY ENDS. BEST BUY THAT'S NOT RIGHT..... AND THEY KNOW IT'S NOT RIGHT...and gave me the option to PAY $130 more dollars to have a diagnostic test of the TV.

    This set show a great picture. The audio quality straight out the set is good. Most HDTV you need a soundbar but not with this set. The only drawback is the system it runs on. Just another account I must keep up with.

    Adding this protection plan was simple, easy to understand, and well integrated into our TV purchase. Best Buy employees explained it thoroughly, how it works, where to go to file claims, etc.
