Same as the last time this is my second time dealing with geek squad replacements. They kept replacing the board which DID NOTHING!!! i was without a tv for almost 2 months . I had to rent a tv for 89 a month until they said they needed the board to fail 3 times instead of giving a replacement. So it was a 1500 dollar tv the reciept showed every main board was 1199 so they spent 3 times the tv's cost in repairs plus whatever it cost the truck and workers and then the 4th time when they picked up the tv and dropped off the other. This is crazy and if they just stopped this weird policy i dont know if its made up or what because it was the same guy every time i do not know if he was just saying this to pocket the money or what but its a crazy thing to do keep putting something that does nothing to fix it 3 times and wasting money and everyones time and making me have to rent a tv for a month. Honestly the only reason i give 2 stars is becAUSE they finally gave me a new tv what the old one was worth.

When covering electronics items that are difficult to have repaired getting the GeekSquad warranty is a must. For the cost it can save the purchase value of the item covered. It has allowed me to upgrade one of my items with a much more capable replacement.

you would have to be an idiot not to take advantage of the 5 year warranty, what a great value

We had a crack in our TV and Best Buy replaced it the next day! We had our brand new TV set up and running for thanksgiving football! Thankful for the Best Buy annd geek squads awesome customer service!

The protection plan gives the people an opportunity to not worry about getting the replacement or the money back.

This is the second time I’ve purchased the extra coverage. It’s well worth it! My last TV quit working and it was a very simple process to get it exchanged. I received back my purchase price as a store credit to use on my new (better) TV.

Fortunately I got a working TV and have not had to test the warranty yet, but this tv will get used a lot in our bedroom so I got the warranty for 30.00. If it quits the cashier said I could just replace it for a year then they will fix it or refund my money when something happens.

According to what they will do, I'm psyched that if anything goes wrong with my tv, they will hook me with with fixing or replacing it. So, here's hoping I never have to use it; but, feel good knowing it's there.

We purchase the extended warranty for additional protection for our large TV

as you know technology has the 50/50 chance of going bad. i've never had an issue of my stuff going bad as of yet (knock on wood) but I like the ease of mind knowing my product is secured for years to come. price is always a great deal with bestbuy, mid as well purchase it if you want to avoid the hassle of when unfortunately it does happen and you feel your money is now going down the drain.

Haven't had to use yet, but it is a great value to buy with electronics

I strongly recommend purchasing the Geek Squad Protection for any major purchase you make at Best Buy! We had purchased our TV three years ago when one part of the screen went dark. We called and they sent someone to our house (we are 90 miles from the nearest store), who said it couldn't be fixed. Once their insurance reviewed it, we were given store credit towards a new TV. Pay for the Geek Squad Protection...you may never need it, but if you do, it will be money well spent!

Love this tv. It was bought to replace an older model. Apps work great. Make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi. The tv picture from Sony always looks great. Didn’t adjust anything out of the box. Very satisfied

This is a great television set and I would recommend it to anyone seeks the maximum in image quality. Samsung's nano-crystal technology allows for vibrant colors and great brightness. The TV itself has wonderful software features such as SmartHub which allows for apps including Netflix, Hulu, etc. For the gamers, this TV offers an amazing refresh rate meaning that you will be able to have an immersive gaming experience without experiencing any issues, especially with those more fast paced games.

Due to having 2 TV's blow up within months of each other, we felt the extra warranty was warranted! We have surge protectors on our whole house and also extra ones for each TV. The blow ups were just the way both older TV's decided to die. We believed the extra warranty would be helpful because of the lightness of the TV and it's fragile position.

Don't kid yourself, get the protection and put your mind at ease should something go wrong.

Very excellent and great work. I took in my laptop computer that was all messed up and yes they fixed the problem and it didn’t take long. If you don’t have it get it.
