1000 % necessary on any and all devices through Best Buy always and I mean always under no circumstances could you ever go without purchasing one of these perfect warranties with zero deductible and from how it was explained to me hopefully Best Buy ensures everything from car home medical and life insurance soon your other Best Buy is to buy a bunch of Best Buy stock immediately no matter what the market looks like right now such as I've done last year it's just as good as Tesla and we'll get even better in the years to come

The pixels in my tv started going out. I called geek squad because I had bought a protection plan on the tv. They set me up a quick appointment to have a technician come out and diagnose the problem. The technician was very friendly and early which was great. All and all I was able to get a replacement on the tv. Smooth easy service!

Excellent value for the money. In my experience this kind of insurance from Best Buy has always been honored when problems have arisen.

This is by far one of the best warranties we have ever purchased. It's even better than a home warranty product! It covers just about any electronics which you may own, they come on time when you schedule an appointment, fix what needs to be fixed, and cart away any electronics you no longer need, or want. one of the BEST BUYS ever!!!

I think it's important to get the protection plan. The first time I used it was for my dyson cordless vacuum. I got a completely new one because it could not be fixed in the store. But of course for the new one you would have to purchase a new protection plan. I've also purchased it for a TV but since it was my son who threw something at the TV (accidentally) and the screen looked chatterd it definitely was not covered. All I could get back was the protection plan money because it was still under the year I purchased it on.

We bought this plan again with our TV. It saved us about $800

HiSense at its price point is best Television. It serves my purpose very well without spending much. The amount I saved compared to buying expensive TVs, now I can spend on better services like high resolution streaming etc.

I can always count on bestbuys protection plan to take care of my devices. Ive used it a few times on other products and man, that small fee is worth it!

I highly recommend getting a protection plan for any expensive item. Especially items that have in-home protection because they are to large to take to the store. My 60" Samsung Smart TV broke 3 yrs after purchase which meant the manufactures warranty would've expired. Fortunately I had a 5 yr Geek Squad plan. They came to my home assessed the problem and because they didn't have the parts to repair my Samsung they gave me a voucher to purchase a newer model as a replacement. I paid $220 for the protection plan on the 60" it was worth every penny! Otherwise I would have nothing. So I gladly paid $189 for the 5 yr protection plan on the replacement TV

By far the best protection plan for any TV . I wouldn’t buy a TV without this protection plan ! Tv bought in 2017 just had the screen go out on me , so Geek squad came and looked at it (now being 2022 and the TV is almost 5 years old ) and determined it couldn’t be fixed so I received the full amount of what I had paid for the TV , to purchase a new one. Once again , totally worth every penny and best protection plan that was easy to use and fast to fix the issue.

Had an LG LED TV die on me. Brought it into Bestbuy, had to make an appointment to speak with a Geek Squad member. Next appointment was available the following weekend. I went in the next Saturday, TV was sent out within a day or so. I kept getting emails telling me what was going on. After 5 days or so they told me nothing could be done to repair the TV, it would cost too much. And I was getting a replacement. Went back to Bestbuy and they gave me a gift card for the full amount. If I didn't buy this protection plan, I would be out of $600. Needless to say I used the gift card to buy a new TV and I bought the extended warranty.

My husband is a big believer in having technicians that can come to the house in the case of any issues. No way we can transport a TV this size to Best Buy for service.

I have not had to use this time I bought the protection. It does however give me piece of mind. Another time I bought this protection and did have to use it and it was easy to have them take care of everything.

This is a great protection plan that worked out for me when I needed it. I had a very small dead pixel on my TV and Geek squad came to review it and the issue was quickly resolved as I was given a gift card to get a new TV.
