I setup myself but did purchase 5 year warranty, (just in case).

Amazing peace of mind with this warranty plan for such a large purchase, awesome that it was included for free.

I have never had any issue with a Samsung TV, but with high tech electronics it’s better to be safe than sorry.

I think this protection is a good service to have on your electronics. You never know when something will break.

They'll give you a schpeel about how it covers MORE than what the manufacturer warranty covers, but it doesn't really. And you're paying for something you can't use. In my case, I paid for something I originally declined, but was talked into because I was promised it was added onto the end of the manufacturer's warranty, which was appealing. Only it didn't and I paid for something I never needed or wanted and when I needed it, it wasn't any good. To make it better, I tried to talk to them about a refund, and instead the customer "service" guy put me on hold for 1.5 HOURS and disconnected me. I called from my cell to see if someone could come back to the land line I was holding on and THEY put me BACK on hold for another HOUR before disconnecting me. So obviously, not impressed with the service or the product. No wonder they can't compete with Amazon or Walmart.

We bought this protection plan for peace of mind. Hope we don`t ever need it but if we do, we have it.

I went ahead and purchased the his added warranty to protect my investment. ( Murphys Law - if I did not purchase this added warranty something will go wrong )

Geek Squad answered all of my questions and helped me understand my device. I get Geek Squad protection on all my devices.

I like knowing that if anything goes wrong. So far haven't had to use it but its good knowing that I have geek squad for the next 5 years if anything goes bad with th tv.
