The warranty was as advertised, ran into issues with my TV, exchanged for new TV with no issues.

The five year warranty is just for extra security just in case something goes wrong.

The geek squad coverage seems like the way to go as opposed to the standard manufacturers warranty. Simply for us because they will come out for repairs or you can take it to them instead of shipping to it out

I recommend purchasing Geek Squad protection. It gives you the confidence knowing you can call on them if you need help
