This geek squad insurance was purchased just in case I had any issues but so far haven’t had any reason to use it

I absolutely love the Geek Squad Protection service from Best Buy. I never hesitate to purchase it, especially for my television, as it provides me with peace of mind. Just a few months before the expiration date, my TV started showing signs of going bad, and to my surprise, Geek Squad refunded the entire cost of my TV. I had experienced an ongoing issue with it, which I had previously discussed with them, but it only worsened in the last couple of months until the screen completely stopped working. This time around, I opted for a Samsung TV, and it has been a much better experience. The support team was understanding and promptly emailed me a gift card as store credit. I highly recommend Geek Squad Protection for anyone looking to safeguard their valuable electronics.

Purchased a Sony TV in June, along with it I purchased Best Buy's 5 year extended warranty. The set developed a problem in Nov. Called the Geek Squad and described the problem. The knowledgeable representative diagnosed the situation over the phone and explained it was a panel failure that could not be repaired. He emailed me an exchange order to bring to my local BB store. Brought the paperwork to the store and they set up a delivery/pickup date for 2 days later. Had I chosen to bring my set in they would have made the exchange right there in the store. All of this took less than an hour to accomplish. Two days later I had my new TV...WOW! Throughout this process every person I dealt with was extremely courteous and helpful. They even offered to let me apply my original purchase price towards any other TV that they carried. Love my Sony so I told them "no thanks". Purchasing that extended warranty was truly a Best Buy for me.

Hopefully I never have to use the warranty but at least I have peace of mind for 5 years!

Definitely worth it for the five years that I purchased it for just in case something does go wrong

I had to leave the laptop with the above sihce of the drivers which handles the brightness went down as well new laptop got hit with it. The geek squad were excellent and they not seen this before but they reinstalled windows on both and the ultra brigh They htness was taken care of. They are a great team .
