I usually purchase warranties when making electronic purchases. I purchased this as a gift and only wanted a 2 year warranty but was told I had to get the 5. Felt bullied

I'm sure this will be of use if I need it but I have no idea what product I have that has 5 year protection on it,,,any way to find out?

Some of the agents know what they are talking about. My experience wasn't great. I needed something done with one of my previous MacBook Pro's and they shipped it away for the part and I didn't have my computer for about 3 weeks. And when I got it back the problem was not resolved.

Unfortunately, 2 years later and we have to get the tv replaced. It started smoking out of nowhere after about 2 years and 3 months from the time of purchase. The tech came and assessed that it was the screen and power supply. It was too expensive to render repairs so they credited us the cost of the tv. Definitely will not buy the same tv again.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS TV. I purchased the 2 year Geek Squad Warranty and the tv died 8 days after the warranty expired. This tv should last more than 2 years and 8 days. How ridiculous!!! I have 2 other LED tv's that are Insignia brand that have been running over 10 years, this was an Insignia Smart TV. Best Buy wants to charge more to come out and look at it than I can buy a new tv for. When I do buy a new tv, I guarantee it will not be an Insignia or purchased from Best Buy. Also, every troubleshooting we tried did not work. The tv is dead.

I had asked if they would help me out with transferring some things and switching things around and were Unable to help me.

Never utilized Geek Squad so I don’t find there to be an advantage to paying for it.

I haven't had to use Geek Squad for the item I purchased, but it is reassuring to know they are available if I need them.

Decided to exchange for 3 year for expensive OLED TV so have extra peace of mind and more time if needed.

Geek Squad does not honor its protection plans. The TV stop working less than 1 year from the day it was delivered. I was told we had to call the manufacture. because it was derived less than a year.

I purchased this product to protect the TV that I purchased. If anything goes wrong I hope this will cover it.

I was disappointed to learn that the geek squad protection doesn’t cover cracked screens.

Have not had an occasion to use this service yet. Will advise.

Came in handy....took over a month for geek squad to resolve issue. They ended up replacing TV, which was nice.

Its an ok product ……….. i would recommend to anyone.

Very underwhelmed by the quality of this service. It was fine I guess but nothing to write home about.

I have not used this service yet, but I would have liked to have known what it entailed, I could have used this twice.
