    I had the Geek Squad warranty. I had an issue i made the call to them with in 2 days they came by diagnosed the problem as a bad mother board . I was told the geek squad service would replace it at no cost . They contacted me within a day & schuled an exchange day . It took about 6 days from start to finish they picked up & delivered the new . All in all its worth it .

    When I got this TV it was because I notice small picture glitches with my old TV. When I called to see if I could get it repaired they said my TV might be too old. I was asked if it was under warranty. I said I believe so, but I'm not sure how long it was for. Turns out we bought the 5 year and I was in the last 5 DAYS if the warranty. I brought it in and as suspected it was too old to fix so they gave me the option to exchange for that same one of they had it (or could order it) OR to take the value of the TV b as store credit. Not the current value, but the value of when I bought almost five years ago. That credit bought me a Samsung 55". From a 40".

    Already saved me money. Worked on my TV and found it was not fixable. Sent me a new one and removed myvold TV. Thank you geek squad.

    Purchased this for my last 75 inch TV, 2 years in and one of the rows of pixels went out. Geek squad came out to my house and within 20 minutes they diagnosed the problem, I received an email accepting the claim and they gave me full credit toward my new TV. Within 2 hours I picked up my replacement TV in the store.

    Alway purchase the protection plan. We have always purchased the protection plan for any and all appliances that we buy from this store. Have always received prompt and quick repairs or replacement.

    Pretty good coverage, lacking timliness of repair

    They come out pretty timely, but never does one visit suffice. THey always have to come and diagnose then order parts and then return sometimes up to 3 times. But the service does cover repairs, and if the same problem exists 3 times, they will replace your item.

    1000 % necessary on any and all devices through Best Buy always and I mean always under no circumstances could you ever go without purchasing one of these perfect warranties with zero deductible and from how it was explained to me hopefully Best Buy ensures everything from car home medical and life insurance soon your other Best Buy is to buy a bunch of Best Buy stock immediately no matter what the market looks like right now such as I've done last year it's just as good as Tesla and we'll get even better in the years to come

    Had to replace my other tv I bought from Best Buy and I bought the 5 year warranty and it’s great to have so you can use that replacement to get another tv!

    Not getting what I paid for

    Purchased my tv with a 5 year warranty. Four years later my tv is having issues with what seems to be the wifi card which was replaced. But 2 weeks later the tv is having issues again and they are unwilling to come and take a look at the tv, blaming my wifi at home. I have other electronics at home that work fine without any issues only the tv is having problems. I have video proof of what the tv is doing but yet they blame my wifi. The tv is turning off the wifi on its own, there is no setting to turn this off. I will not be buying again from best buy, let alone use the geek squad service again.

    Some times these are a must to have these days. Bought this protection for our second dehumidifier. The first one died a few days after the factory warranty was over. You get a store credit for what you originally paid for the original so you can get a new one.

    The agents are always available they are always very knowledgeable and helpful and if they can't help over the phone they get you in immediately to solve your problems if I could give them a higher rating I would definitely worth the extra money
