They do not cover what you think they will. Also God forbid you need to get a refund for a service plan its like pulling teeth. So If you buy a 3,000 TV dont waist you money on the service plan they won't cover it.

good service but difficult to get large/ heavy items serviced

I'll use it if I need it, but I doubt I will in 5 years.

I bought a 55" TV and I purchased a 2 year EXTENDED WARRANTY with the purchase. The TV literally failed about 10PM on the day the last day of the warranty, 2 years later. I promptly called the next morning and NO, they WOULD NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY. In the past two years, I having bought two iMac's, two monitors, this TV and I have annually renewing subscriptions through BestBuy, I will change where I make purchases and cancel my renewing subscriptions.

The Geek Squad is hard to deal with and can be very unresponsive. It should just be repair or replace!

Will never purchase this service again through Best Buy, nothing but a hassle. Very unprofessional, incompetent employees handling this.

Very glad I bought it, but haven't had to use it yet.

The 5 year plan doesn’t cover much unless something goes wrong mechanically with the tv. The sales associate said this would cover accidental damage on a tv but it doesn’t so don’t buy this coverage for a tv. Best Buy doesn’t cover accidental damage for tvs. They did give me my money back luckily for this plan but don’t waste the money on this. It’s just not worth it

Warranty you purchase is not in addition to the 1 yr manuracture warranty. They double dip on the warranty you are actually purchasing a warranty that runs from the purchase date (along with the manufacture warranty) which is re done dit....Therefore you only have 2 yrs warranty not manurfacture warranty plus an additional 2 years.

Don't buy it, it's a waste of money. They will make you go thru the manufacturer even though the geek squad plan starts on the day of purchase. If you buy this you are literally throwing your money away.

5-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection) this what it gets you best buy will sale you a 50" Insignia but will not let you bring into store to get check out and see why i wont work will had off to sum out fit in Kansas n they decide when to come look @ it Geek Squad has me for a Appointment on the 18th but White Eagle Technologies has it as when we can get parts if no sound r black screen n will not come on what PART IS going to fix this will be the 2nd in 2yrs i dont talk bad bout a biz ness but 2 weeks for a answer is wrong
