It's a very good plan to have. You don't expect anything to happen but just in case you will be covered.

Wish i had my 400$ 55" visio from 2015 back. First thing, the samsung has great sound and looks really good. Bought it for the new xbox and im happy about that. On occasions, tv main menu wont let me pick an input or app and I have to restart it or sometimes unplug it from the wall. Ive had times where it wont even shut off. Also, some apps fail to load. Overall, sight and sound is great. Functionality... has me frustrated when I paid $1700

I hope never to use this service but for the price of the TV I bought I felt this would be a good idea.

helpful reps and service. easy access inside store is big benefit. Could go a little further in assisting with online questions instead of handing out a phone number

I bought this 5 year protection plan for my TV, and it is a very good deal considering its price and coverage.

I usually don't buy extended warranties but with a larger expensive purchase I wanted to protect my investment.

I bought the 2 year plan with my last TV. Decided on the 5 year for the bigger, better TV I purchased.

Had a problem with my tv soon after purchase and they fixed in a prompt and professional manner.

I always get the Geek Squad protection plan on all my major purchases. Their service is amazing.

I can use my TV without any worries knowing that my protection plan will cover me if a problem arises.

It would be a bad idea to buy a new electronic that you spent $100's on and not buy an extended warranty.

This was hands down the single GREATEST Television I have ever owned. I purchased it, paid for fully coverage, mounting and a crew to install it as its a mighty piece of tech. It literally made my home, home... in a lot of ways. Originally I had purchased a protection / repair plan... but as I saw and understood the quality and reality of the TV I had purchased I chose after about a year and some change to end it due to some unexpected financial expendature's. I had faith that I would get a good 5 years at a BARE minimum out of this purchase. I kid you not after a slight amount over a year and a half a giant green line appeared down the middle of the screen. Neither Geek Squad, nor BestBuy would help at all and referred me to the manufacturer. So disappointed, this was a hard tie to best buy purchases, but I was just not taken care of as a indulge of the better end of the what sales has to offer to consumer. After a few hour long phone calls, the TV is being sent to scrap. What an absolute hit to the heart with probably my favorite piece of visual tech I have had the chance to own. I can't see myself ever doing business with BestBuy / Sony / any affiliates of the two. These are the kind of situations where as a company, I would expect some respect and understanding to how money made vs high end purchasing customer getting a dud and having no real feasible solution. Best of luck. Do not buy from this company or establishment, find a company that cares about its real tech customers. :/
