I always purchase Geek Squad protection on any product I purchase from best buy. I have never regretted purchasing geek squad protection.

Trying to get Geek Squad here at my home was near impossible. Three months before I got service. I wrote the CEO, and many people trying to get my Sony TV repaired under warranty. Nobody Seemed to care. I started with the store and was told that I, a 65 year old man, had to bring a 65” TV two hours to the nearest store. I went through the chain of command and was met with indifference from all. I called the store again, after nearly three months, and the person I spoke to, finally took care of me. After just a week, I had someone come out and attempt a repair that failed. They cared, and suggested the TV be replaced. It was! The moral of the story is, if you have a problem, deal with the store, try different people at the store. They took care of me. After three months, I had a new TV. Geek Squad finally took care of my issue.

While I absolutely love Samsung products, I would rather have the protection plan in case something went wrong rather than being without it. Geek squad usually is prompt when it comes to repairs.
