I bought protection for my TV, which is a higher end model. Best buy covers more than the manufacturer warranty. I don't expect I'll have any issues, but knowing I have the protection is nice just in case anything does happen.

I purchase geek squad for all of my high end Best Buy purchases. Fortunately, I've never had to use them as my products continue to work perfectly. I sleep well at night just knowing I'm protected.

I haven't had to use this yet but I have complete peace of mind knowing that my TV is Geek Squad protected.

The Protection Plan was explained to me by Best Buy Floor Technician. I find the plan to be most valuable for the price. Better Safe than Sorry! The Protection for valued purchase.

I purchased the 2 year Geek Squad for my new Roku TV and haven't actually used it yet, but it covers any damage and even if something as small as two pixels going dead on the screen and they'll replace it so I'd say for an extra $30 it's well worth it.

Hard to give a review when we haven't had to use it. It is a great price considering how much replacement parts cost.

I would recommend Geek squad warranties on anything expensive. a few hundred dollars saved me over a thousand dollars in replacement costs.

Appointment was excellent. On time, installation and review of use was professional. AND, unpackaged and removal was CLEAN. Protection plan is essential when purchasing a high end item.

Haven't needed to use for my TV, but have had it for other items where I did and process was surprisingly easy. I always buy Best Buy's extended warranty on larger items for piece of mind.

I purchased the 5 year protection plan for my new Sony TV just because these newer sets are actually computers....too much that can go wrong. Though it states 5 years, it's really only 4 years because the first year is under the manufacturer warranty. Save the box! I had a 5 year extended warranty on my last tv and it broke in the sixth year.

Have not had to use this yet but hope it will be nice if my product goes bad

Very useful guarantees and personnel too. The product never got damaged but they always answered my questions

My previous TV (different brand and purchased elsewhere) died unexpectedly after two years and I was operating on a tight budget, so I thought that I would insure this one. You know , if you are superstitious, the best way to guarantee trouble-free service from your device is to buy service protection - but either way you are covered.
