Worth having the peace of mind knowing you have the support should my product fail

My last tv’s picture went blank after a year and I had no coverage

After 2 TVs quit working in a row, I'd be stupid not to get the 5 year warranty.

My experience with my geek squad TV replacement was nothing short of a nightmare. After a mistake on there end...what should have only taken 2 days for the replacement ended up taking over a month. I literally called over 15 times and was told something different by every CSR that I talked to. Eventually the gift card that was supposed to be electronically sent showed up in the mail with no correspondence from Geek Squad. I am grateful that my TV replacement was covered under warranty but furious about the way it was handled and how long it took.

Very slow at times when switching to different apps

So the picture is nice enough, But i would like to give it a negative review because the tv bogs down and wont recognize the button being pushed on the remote, we have to unplug and replug it back in to get it working, The tv takes forever to go to an app to be able to watch anything. Sometimes it also looses connection to the wifi and cant do anything, and now as im talking to 800bestbuy to get a technician to come look at it under the 2 year protection plan i always buy with any tv or big purchase from Best Buy. They wont send anyone out because I have a 1 year manufacturers warrenty still in place until September 28. This TV IS TRASH and Best Buy changed the policy with the protection plans and now im stuck on hold the last 10 minutes waiting to do troubleshooting with someone ... UGH!

I got the protection since it was a good price. Hope I don't need to use it

The warranty is a must and definitely a smart buy.

i am not sure ,I have never had to use the protection plan but glad I have it .

love the service, wish they extend the hard ware part of the protection
