Geek squad is a complete joke and a huge waste of money and time. They used to be good. My 12-year-old kid can outsmart them. Don't waste your money, find a kid to help. The kid is smarter and easier to find.

Baught this tv and after I unboxed it the top half of the screen was blooming . I had contacted the store and they told me that i couldn't bring it back to the store i needed to call geeksqwad so i did . They arived and said it needed a new screen so they ordered a new screen. By this time i couldn't exchange it for a different model. Now they replaced the screen and the problem is still there but worse. Now its flickering and im stuck with this brand new $2,300 TV that has been taken apart and put back together( not a good feeling) especially when it doesn't function properly.

Geek is just what it is, what good is it if you have to always bring something in for them to give you any knowledge to how to solve the problem, might as well call a friend.

It’s a for a Christmas gift so it hasn’t been used yet.

Purchased the protection plan for a printer. Normally I don't splurge for these but this was a big purchase with high maintenance risk so I think it was worth the extra cost.

Buying this really depends on personal preference. At checkout make sure you clarify WHICH protection for your product you want.

Geek squad located in the Yakima city's Best Buy has been a scam before. Took an Apple computer in for repair and they wanted to charge around $300 to fix it. It would also be about a 2 weeks wait to fix. The local computer repair shop fixed it for $60 in 2 and half hours... Geek Squad is a joke.

The agents in person tell you the truth. The agent thru the phone on the 24/7 acces that sound like they are overseas will tel you anything mainly yes to everything toy ask even if it a lie and they let you look like a fool when you attend a geeksquat agent in person.

Only supports hardware issues. Useless when I encountered software problems caused by ASUS. There is no reason Geek Squad would need additional charges for software problems outside of a money grab.

I added the 2 year plan. Unfortunately my little kid broken the screen and did have the additional protection for damage. If you have little kids buy the additional protection

My TV has been seeing issues only a few months after purchasing. Their own support was unhelpful so I came back to Best Buy to help. They said they cannot help me unless TCL has no way of fixing it and even if they did there is no Geek Squad available right now. So because of COVID, I am paying extra for a warranty I will never be able to take advantage of???? Very disgusting practice and it has discouraged me from purchasing anything else at Best Buy.

If I could have picked zero I would have this, protection plan is a scam. Out tv won’t work correctly and will not connect , I called to get service and was told we don’t have coverage to call the manufacturer , so disappointed in this service

Problem with these programs is price such high portion of purchase price. Also doesn’t cover universal remote programming which is only issue I have had with items purchased.

Best security system..amd its for 2 years or 4 years.

THey are helpful... Just takes time to get to an agent who then turns around and hands you off to another agent with long wait times.

Was told I could not have this 5 year warranty carry over to the new TV I had to get cause my 58 in Westinghouse decided to shut down completely and was purchased last year. Spoke to someone to ask if the Geek Squad 5 year be elegible for my new SAMSUNG and the woman I spoke to was having a bad day that she just cut me short. Idk, but I had to buy an additional 2 year with this new TV! Also, went to pick it up and the dude in charge of the store pick up was lazy !!! Need to cover damage caused by the user it’s not fair I pay 1200 for tv then my baby throw something at it and Best Buy won’t cover that
