Took out the extended warranty...hope I don't have to use it. Just gives peace of mind to know I don't have to take it in and they will come to me to repair.

Stress free, Knowing that i have a back up plan makes me wanna go back to the store and purchase more devices. Their warranty is worth it .

For a small room where you don't want a sub and better sound than the TV has, this is a great choice. Price was good for the sound it puts out. Easy set up.

With the cost of UHD 4K TVs rising, we could justify the cost of a 100% 5 year warranty through the GEEK Squad to give us peace of mind. We had the recent experience of another brand TV dying completely 2 months after the manufacturers warranty expired but was able to get a new 4K 60" TV at no cost to us under our extended warranty.

This is a great (refundable) option if you want protection. Bought it for my last TV and when we relocated and left the TV behind, Best Buy prorated my refund and I got a good chunk of change back, so my warranty fee wasn't wasted on something I no longer owned! Great way to go for peace of mind protection.

This time I did take Geek Squad protection for 5 years, (actually it’s 4 years cause they start counting same time as manufacturers warranty.)

Bought my dad a new TV and there was no doubt that I was going to purchase a 2 year protection plan. I have purchased a tv in the past and did not get a protection plan, after my 1 year warranty was up I started to notice screen burn in...needless to say there was nothing I could do about it. Not no more, that will never happen to me again. A MUST HAVE!

Haven't had to use Geek Squad yet for any broken items but have purchased open box items in the past that they have certified and the items are always exactly as described so they seem to know how to rate items and what comes with and how to use a device. Geek Squad was also instrumental with getting me a refund on an installation gone bad on my dishwasher (note - Geek Squad wasn't the installer).

In my opinion not all items need a protection plan, but for a tv in my house, needed! Tv's are so light weight and the screens are more sensitive to a cats flying attack of images on screen, the "opps I missed " thrown balls or the backswing in sword play, and of course the accidental discharge of an airsoft gun's bb's. Then for the normal household ,things like surge protection, pixel loss, speaker crackling and now days the "Smart" portions of the tv. So I say yes to tv protection plans.

Peace of mind after taking 5 year purchase guarantee plan. The Bestbuy offered the 5 year program for $99 which is a reasonable price.

Good value, reasonable cost, but could be made better with a "no use" small rebate. If you do not use the insurance at all. They rebate 25% of the cost in gift card value? This would add value and make the insurance even more attractive.

Keeps my mind stress free of any possible mishaps with my purchase. Definitely needed if you live in a rowdy household like myself

I just bought this Samsung - 55" Class Q80T Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV and wanted to feel extra secure so purchased the 5 year warranty plan. Hope I never have to USE it but if so ok I'm ready! From the past experiences I've had with Geek the SQUAD all went well when they came to my home to Calibrate my TV. They took their time and were very thorough.

Love the Geek Squad. Haven't needed thier service very often as I like to purchase top quality products. When I hVe needed them, thier service was top notch.

This is a great basic TV. I already had a sound bar and Roku, so I didn't need a Smart TV. The sound and picture are great and it was easy to set-up.

The only problem with this is it doesn’t take over until my TCL warranty goes away. So I paid for 5 years but will only get 4? Kinda crappy especially since TCL is hell to deal with and now I’m stuck with a defective TV until the warranty I paid for takes over.
