Nightmare Customer Experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.@BestBuy @BestBuySupport I am going through a nightmare customer service at Geek Squad Scranton 959 Viewmont Dr Dickson City, PA 18519 I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent experience with Best Buy's Geek Squad installation service. I purchased a Samsung 75” Class LS03D The Frame Series QLED 4K TV with Anti-Reflection and Slim Fit Wall Mount Included on August 17th, 2024. I scheduled a Geek Squad appointment for TV setup and mounting on August 23rd. During this appointment, the technicians suggested that I hide all the cables, including those from the TV and soundbar. I agreed and rescheduled for August 28th. To my dismay, the team that arrived on August 28th had no idea how to mount the Frame TV. They suggested using the old mount from my previous TV, which was completely against the purpose of purchasing the Frame TV. The team left without mounting the TV and instructed me to reschedule the installation service. I called Geek Squad and spoke with Andy, who informed me that the system was not updated and that I would need to wait 24 hours before calling back to schedule. I followed their instructions, only to be told the same thing again. After waiting an additional 24 hours and calling Geek Squad again, I was informed that the system still had not been updated and that I would need to wait another 24 hours. As a customer who has been waiting for my TV since August 17th, I am extremely frustrated and disappointed. It is unacceptable that I have to repeatedly call Geek Squad and beg for them to schedule a service that they have already botched. Their lack of efficiency, knowledge, and customer service is truly appalling. I urge Best Buy to take immediate action to address this issue. I expect a resolution that includes a prompt and correct installation of my TV, as well as compensation for the inconvenience and frustration I have experienced. Just to add into the story I spoke to the manager they reach out to me through DM chat when I posted the same concern over social media.. but again told me to wait for another 24 hours telling me they "escalated" just to tell you whenever they tell you they are escalating means they are going to add 24 hours with every escalation but they will not fix your problem just give you another 24 hours. they are flying pigeons to get across internal communication to resolve any issue. run for your life when the representative tell we are escalating Sir.

Gotta use protection!

You never know when your cat might decide to jump behind the tv, get tangled in your premium HDMI cables, and decide to just dash out and knock it all down, ruining your evening television watching. Best to be safe, get the protection! Also, get rewards points for writing this review. I hope you enjoyed.

Always get geek squad

Geek squad no hassle replacement

Tech came out assessed the issue and with in minute I had my replacement options . In store easy process for the new replacement. Get the warranty it works if needed

Prorated refund when Manufacturer covered

The TV died in 6 weeks and when I called the Geek Squad I was told I had to deal with the manufacturer for the first year of the warrenty. This is understandable. The Geek Squard member was very nice. My issue was when I tried to cancel it my refund was prorated.

The Geek Squad Saves the Day

My first Geek rep set up my TV and explained all the info. It was as if the TV manual came to life. He was a professional and made sure we understood all of the details of the TV. He was a credit to Best Buy's reputation!

Good Option

The last 5 TVs purchased, had failures between the two and three-year mark. Since I purchased a 42 inch TV the GeekSquad came out to the house but wasn't able to repair it, so I exchanged it for a better one.

Coffee spill

Then there was a particularly frigid day without gloves and as I was on my way to see my GEEKS my freezing fingers dropped my computer on the corner and cracked it. They put a new ‘skin’ on it. I’m sure I’ll make use of my protection on my new computer too. I seem to have karma with electronics.
