    They came and inspected my broken Hisense TV and was able to replace it. For 100, it is pretty worth for 5 years coverage. I wish the warranty would extend and cover the replacement TV but I have to buy a new 5 year plan. Would be 5/5 if the new TV continued the the previous warranty plan.

    I purchased a protection plan along with a TV purchase to ensure I had a working and functional TV for at least 5 years. The purchased TV was the high end of the brand at the time and we've enjoyed it. Unfortunately I cannot say the same regarding the protection plan. In my first year, we ran into issues with the TV. It was under manufacturers warranty, so they covered a motherboard replacement. Within a few weeks of the manufacturers warranty ending, ran into more issues with the TV. This is the reason I purchased the protection plan and thought I was covered. It was easy getting someone out to inspect and determine another motherboard replacement was needed. That was during my last week of my remote job. I have since started a new job that's 45mins away. I communicated this and the technician said it wasn't a problem and scheduled a Saturday appointment. The date rolls around and no communication from Best Buy all day. I call and am told no agent was assigned and would escalate my issue. It cascaded downhill more and more from here. I had a total of 5 escalations and >12 interactions with Best Buy customer service via chat, call, and in store. Then I'm finally told by someone at corporate that they don't have Saturday appointments in my area and said I should take PTO. It's a new job that I haven't received any PTO yet, so the rep was basically putting me in position to call out sick and hurt my reputation and employment status with this employer. I ask about options like exchanging or returning for store credit and was told that's not an option because they haven't gotten a chance to fix it. They won't work with you for Saturday appointments. So I've been stuck with a malfunctioning TV for months and am told my only option was to mail a complaint to corporate. I mailed a letter to corporate and still haven't received any type of communication. I've been a long time customer of Best Buy. Very disappointed by this situation and I feel cheated being stuck with a malfunctioning TV. Why would I ever shop at Best Buy again after an experience like this?

    I have had geek squad in the past and they fixed a TV for me after 3 years I had a great experiencein the past and purchased a five year plan with my new 85 in TV

    5 year Geek squad protection is an important addtion to have when you buy a new TV. They will come to your house to fix it and if it can't be fixed they will replace the TV with a TV with dollar amount up to what you paid for the TV.

    Everyone I have ever talked to in the store was very knowledgeable and polite. They have installed a car stereo for me before and I currently have there insurance for a tv just in case something happens.

    I would always recommend this, especially on small appliances and television as if you need it they are courteous and prompting getting you satisfaction and it always helps to be able to get things taken care of right away

    Purchased the 5 year protection plan from the Geek Squad. Hope we never have to use it, but it gives us peace of mind.

    You only need to read the terms and features for these Geek Squad warranties to see how beneficial they are on top of your manufacturer's warranty. Above and beyond. Most of us carry the insurance plans for cell phones each month as a "what if scenario," this is no different for high end home entertainment equipment. For less than cellular insurance and no "deductibles," this is a must have piece of mind. Better to have and not need, than to need and not have.

    These warranties are 100% worth the money! I bought a Sony A9G in 11/2020 and it died 11/2022, because of the warranty Best Buy gave me $1800 for the A9G, $100 less than I paid 2 years ago, plus I got to keep my A9G despite its pixel issue. I put the money towards the A95K and bought another 5 year warranty! If you spend $2000+ on a tv, it’s worth it.

    Highly recommend to get with purchases. My TV started to show bright spots on the edge after nearly 2 years. Made a call. They sent someone out. Determined the tv needed to be exchanged. Since my tv is still usable I was able get a gift card for the full amount I paid on my tv and keep my tv. They went above and beyond.

    This plan is for five years so it gives the freedom to have my tv services and save me money on the cost of repairs.
