    This was a must have with my purchase because I brought a T.V (insignia brand)from Target and it lost brightness , I didn't purchase insurance but I did have proof of Purchase and they couldn't do anything for me and I had the Television for about 4years.I was so hurt because the T.V looks brand new.I learned my lesson so I made sure with this purchase I had insurance added.

    Very, very reliable and patient. At first it was difficult to describe concern but they used their cell phone, took a picture and sure enough they were able to detect problem!

    I bought it for my tv, but when I had problem with my tv display they refused to fix it saying that there’s a physical damage; however there were absolutely no physical damage at all and it was like new. They told me even though there’s no visible damage but it is considered physical damage. I just wasted my money buying geek squad protection

    I had a TV that went out and I needed to get it replaced. I called geek squad and they came out and replaced my TV for me so I do recommend getting a protection plan.

    If your going to invest in the top of the line entertainment then you need to get the protection for it. I learned the Hard way! I now have peace of mind knowing that if my purchase breaks it will be fixed and covered.

    I obtained the 5 year warranty because we were purchasing a brand of tv that we have never owned before. I hope we will not have to use it, but we feel that if we do Bestbuy will make things right.

    Love geek squad warranties.Anytime I have a issue with a product I'm able to return it to the store and the customer service rep returns the items for me.

    My last TV had issues and thank goodness I had the protection plan. My TV had to be replaced. It was done quickly and the people were professional and well trained.

    Took a chance when this TV went on sale and wondered why, Well happy to say I have had no complaints so for and what a great pic with so much detail, Not a lot of 4K out there yet but the up-scaling from even standard DVD and Blue ray is really good. Great pic and easy to use tv

    Geek Squad stands behind Best Buy products.

    Bought a Hisense 50 inch tv in 2017 and it had a problem with a line in the picture. Geek Squad came out and stood behind the TV and gave me a full refund to buy a new TV. Very happy with the outcome.

    I learned something about Best Buy's Geek Squad Protection recently. It's only good for one-time repair, or replacement. I presumed (in error, apparently), that my 2, 3, or 5-year protection, covered me for the duration of the stated period. In a recent transaction, where a TV required replacement, I learned differently. Advice: Pay close attention to your return policy; the date of purchase (even if paid for at the end of a business day, or at closing) counts as ONE day! Also, be sure any discounts (price-matching, sales, Reward Certificates...) are taken before you pay for protection, as the final cost of the item determines (within preset ranges) the cost of protection for a given period. As to whether, or not, I'd recommend this option to a friend, I'd suggest buyer beware, or just "be aware", and be informed.

    Our TV died within 2 years. They told us it couldn't be fixed but because we had purchased this plan, they replaced our TV. They gave us a full purchase price refund which we put toward a newer model. The plan actually does what it says and BestBuy stands behind it.
