Definitely a must if you purchase anything expensive so you have some security to the product you bought

The last tv I bought for $300 more lasted 14 months unfortunately 2 months too long for warranty so decided to buy best buy one and have no worries!!!

It is good to know that if something goes wrong, that the tv is covered for the next 5 years.
