    At first i wasnt to sure about getting this, the TV was already expensive enough right but then it was brought to my attention that anything could happen and in the past i have had TVs damaged without having a back uo plan, getting this protwction plan was and still is a great choice if you truly want this TvlV for ling term.

    Dropped TV and Damaged Home….

    I purchased an 85in TV on October 15th. On November 4th the installation team came to remove our current TV and wall mount and install the new wall mount and new TV. In the process they dropped our TV, damaged our wall, shelf, fireplace and floor. I have been trying to get a manager on the phone since then, it’s now 11/10. They have reordered the TV but we cannot get them to schedule another appointment to install. Also, the installation team left us with our old TV and wall mount uninstalled. So then my husband had to reinstall everything they removed on his own. This will be the last time I purchase from Best Buy.

    I have never been disappointed with any LG item I have purchased, and this one is no different. Easy set up out of the box as well as easy to connect the AppleTV and LG soundbar. The picture quality is perfect, as is the size. I would definitely buy another.

    The agents mounted my TV, it was done very efficiently and well placed. They were professional and answered all my questions. Even gave me a few suggestions, appreciate their time and tips.

    Had an LG LED TV die on me. Brought it into Bestbuy, had to make an appointment to speak with a Geek Squad member. Next appointment was available the following weekend. I went in the next Saturday, TV was sent out within a day or so. I kept getting emails telling me what was going on. After 5 days or so they told me nothing could be done to repair the TV, it would cost too much. And I was getting a replacement. Went back to Bestbuy and they gave me a gift card for the full amount. If I didn't buy this protection plan, I would be out of $600. Needless to say I used the gift card to buy a new TV and I bought the extended warranty.

    Best service in town you can't beat it most appliances and tvs break down after 2 year so its a must to grab a 5 year warranty and bestbuy delivers when the time is right if not tou got 1heck of a tv or appliance

    Luckily, I have not needed to use this coverage or plan so far and I'm helping that I never will, but it is very nice and comforting to know that it is there. Should I need it? And I can say from experience in the past that the geek squad is more than qualified and knowledgeable to handle any issues that you may have and need to express.

    This is my first time purchasing GeekSquad Protection. I spoke to friends and family about their experience and found it compelling enough for myself on my new display. In the past, I purchased a 65" 4k TV that had vertical banding issues, I went through the manufacturer for repair and it was a headache to go back and forth and wished I forked the dollars for protection via Best Buy. I also will say that the 5 year protection and price brackets are pretty competitive in terms of value. This is about protecting the consumer and I fully appreciate Best Buy and Geek Squad being very transparent about that in this program.

    I think the Geek are the best cause they help you in a lot of ways they make sure you are protected and you feel so happy because they look into everything. PS that's why I recommend the Geek group as well cause they take care of you to the best of knowledge to help you .

    I highly recommend getting a protection plan for any expensive item. Especially items that have in-home protection because they are to large to take to the store. My 60" Samsung Smart TV broke 3 yrs after purchase which meant the manufactures warranty would've expired. Fortunately I had a 5 yr Geek Squad plan. They came to my home assessed the problem and because they didn't have the parts to repair my Samsung they gave me a voucher to purchase a newer model as a replacement. I paid $220 for the protection plan on the 60" it was worth every penny! Otherwise I would have nothing. So I gladly paid $189 for the 5 yr protection plan on the replacement TV

    I selected to purchase the Geek Squad Protection Service Contract for my 50 inch Samsung LED UHD TV because of the positive previous experiences with Best Buy's Geek Squad. I had my office laptop die on me and they assisted me in selecting a suitable replacement and completely recovered and transferred all of my previous data to the new laptop. I would not hesitate to purchase a service contract from them in the future

    I wrote another review for the first extended warranty I had purchased from the geek squad. My dad’s TV had gone out and had been discontinued. The geek squad came to the house and within days had a new TV installed and running for my dad. I had purchased the first warranty, thank God I was those TVs are expensive. So when this TV went out and was replaced I also purchased another extended warranty for a Christmas present just in case the TV went out again. They did a great job and thank God I purchased the warranty.
