    Best Buy apparently can't cover repairs on my Samsung washer... they refer you back to Samsung. I even asked the rep "so what's the point of buying this?" all she could say was "yeah, I get that question a lot..." As far as I can tell, I purchased a protection plan that doesn't cover anything. Samsung will then lose your support case multiple times and you're left with a broken, new washer.

    It was not easy to get support from Best Buy. After 3 hours of waiting on the phone, I was able to connect to a real human and get the help I paid for

    POOR SERVICE & CUSTOMER SERVICE!

    We took delivery on the LG Wash Tower and after one use, noticed a LOUD squeaking noise. We thought perhaps it was just new and needed a few cycles to work out the kinks, but noticed the sound persisted. After contacting Geek Squad, they offered to send someone out but made us wait 2.5 weeks for the appointment; only to CANCEL on us during our service window that day. They never contacted us to reschedule the appointment. So far, the service has been terrible, especially since we still have a defective washer and dryer due to the poor installation.

    RECEIVED GAS DRYER DELIVERY ON 3/11/2021, WHICH THE BACK OF IT WAS COMPLETELY DAMAGED. THE DAY THAT I PURCHASED IT FROM BEST BUY IN STORE, I WAS TOLD THAT IT'LL BE DELIVERED BY BEST BUY & NOT A 3RD PARTY DELIVERY COMPANY, WHICH IT TURNED OUT THAT'S WHO DELIVERED IT. I ASKED THE DELIVERY GUY'S NOT TO BRING IT IN IF THE GAS LINE ISN'T LONG ENOUGH, BUT THEY BROUGHT IT IN ANYWAY; THAT'S WHEN I SAW THE BACK OF THE DRYER COMPLETELY DAMAGED. I WENT BACK 2 BEST BUY STORE 2 THE VENTED SYSTEM/GAS LINE/SET UP RETURN PICK UP & REFUND WITH THE MANAGER (SINCE APPLIANCE MANAGER WAS ON VACATION AT THAT TIME.)! THE SOONEST IT COULD BE PICKED UP WAS WEDNESDAY (3/24/2021) BETWEEN 12:00-8:00 PM, BUT IT END UP BEING PICKED UP EARLY ON THAT DAY AROUND 11:05 AM INSTEAD.

    Washer was installed correctly and fast. Having an issue with getting dryer fixed. If I call and tell you there is a heating problem why would you not send a technician out with parts to fix common heating failure issues. The fact that I have to miss 1 day of work for you guy to come out for an assessment, and miss another day for him to come back out once the parts have been ordered is ridiculous. And if those parts don’t work that’s another of missed work for me so he can try a third time.

    Geek squad service seems to be limited. I used service one time and now that I need to use it a second time, I keep being told that someone is going to call and the last message I got was that there was no one available to do a in home repair and that they would decide what options were available. After two months of product not working, I am losing hope on service program. I do not see a sense of urgency on Best Buy's part.

    If your appliance is less than a year old, you get the run around trying to get something taken care of. You call geek squad, they then tell you to call the manufacturer, who then gives you the phone number for someone local to deal with. Really? Three different calls to take care of it. Not good.

      It’s certainly concerning to hear your newer appliance is having an issue, and that you’ve run into so much trouble finding an avenue for service. Please know that while the manufacturer’s warranty is still in effect, this will supersede an extended Geek Squad Protection Plan, which is why we referred you to them directly. That said, it sounds like your experience has been more difficult than it should be, which we offer our sincerest apologies for.

    Not sure why I spent money on this…. My washer broke after 3 months of use. I contacted Best Buy who told me I had to go direct to the manufacturer anyway.

    The washer was delivered with NEW hoses not correct for our hook up but they installed any way. The machine slams and bangs when filling with water. Three attempts to fix and still same problem. Never had problem with old washer same brand and old hoses. Best Buy refuses to assist and the credit for inconvenience of $70.00 has never been seen. They dont care.

    Customer service is unaware of the inventory details, they place a delivery order without having equipment available, for two weeks, they changed the delivery date more than 4 times, they place a delivery date after 2 months of the purchase, with no option for more alternatives . In short, I will not buy another device at Best Buy again, and I will never recommend it.
