I haven't needed to use the 5-year protection plan yet, and hopefully I won't need to anytime soon. However, with the great value that I got at the Best Buy outlet, it was a no-brainer to go ahead and purchase the protection plan. For peace of mind, I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

The one thing that keeps bringing back to Best Buy is their Geek Squad Service. I’ve bought warranty service in other stores and no other store made my coverage as easy as Best Buy. Their customer service team are excellent. Now I only purchase all electronics from tv to computers to sound systems to appliances at Best Buy and so do all my family.

I always get a Geek Squad warranty on all my major appliances. This on is on a recent Washer purchase. I did have two major large purchases that I purchased this warranty on and it covered those two products with no questions or problems.

This review is for a protection plan. It’s good to know it’s there. But I haven’t used it which means my thing didn’t break. So 5 stars.

Haven't had the need to use the 5-year Geek Squad Protection yet, but knowing I have it gives me peace of mind in case something breaks down with my new washing machine purchase.

I just love the size of my new washer /dryer from Best Buy.No need for abd adjustment.It was a perfect fit to replace my old washer/dryer.Since the dryer is ventless,I was left with a hole from the vent with no hose in it.I got a galvanized cover from Amazon ,priblem solved.

Purchased the 5 year Geek Squad protection service for my new Samsung Washer and Dryer. Have not had to utilize this service for the appliances yet, however I have utilized Geek Squad in the past and they are awesome and I trust them to fix it when I can’t.

Had a problem with our washer that was a simple fix. Geek squad helped us figure it out over the phone and sent us a replacement part to fix our issue. Two thumbs up for whoever we talked to.

I purchased a 5 year protection plan on my washer I purchased. It is replacing a maytag that the only thing wrong with it was the control board was defective. It went bad after a little more than a year. Because I have the washer in a business maytag would not honor the warranty, and in addition the control board needed was on indefinite backorder. If I had this protection plan on that washer, Best Buy honors the coverage no matter where it is installed, and if the part was unavailable they would replace the washer with a new one.

They were awesome with installing everything in. I would recommend the very knowledgeable Geek Squad for everything

Worth every cent. Now, I usually pass on extended warranty offers and such. But, Geek Squad is my exception. Not only because they are rock stars- I purchased a higher end Samsung washer dryer set (I am in love with) and they are literally rock stars. I haven’t had to use them but the peace of mind knowing that I can if I need to is awesome. Did I mention that they said it if at any time I need to have my washer dryer fixed I’ll just come and exchange them out for new ones? Yep-oh yeah

My wife love me more now for this purchase, haha, for real she really love this set. Recommending to everyone 200%

Always protect your appliances with a service plan, you never know what will happen when the warranty expires

It is overall one of the needed and best protection against anything goes wrong with your washer. If your washer is defective, it goes wrong the first year and some may go wrong after 3 years. By the time, it hits 5 years, you got your investment return and usually it performs well beyond 5 years. Geek Squad Protection is great for the peace of mind.

I purchased this extended protection to cover the purchase of my new washing machine. Had bought a new washer (different brand) from another retailer (big mistake) as it didn't last even 2 years before breaking down. So I decided to try another brand and not wanting to take any chances, I decided to purchase the 5 year protection plan. I hope to never have to need it, but it's comforting to know that it's there in the event of any problems. The cost of the plan is minimal compared to having to buy another new machine. Would recommend the extended coverage.
