I am so thankful that I purchased this for my appliance. I have had to use this protection to replace a dryer for which the front glass had shattered without reason. The process is extensive with a 3rd party company to come out to see if they can repair issue that was not pleasant but after quite some time, the appliance was replaced.

This LG has a jumbo capacity and fit about 24 pounds of our laundry and was one of the few HE top-loaders to excel at cleaning. But like many HE top-loaders it wasn't so gentle on fabrics. Normal wash time is 75 minutes on heavy-soil setting; the TurboWash feature cuts time without affecting performance. Features include a steam option and SmartDiagnosis. It lets you transmit washer data by phone to technicians who will try to solve the problem without a housecall.

I ordered a combination washer/dryer and a warranty. The extended warranty kicked in on June 20th 2020 and here we are at May 18th 2023 and they tech pushed my repair date a week and said my drain motor is not covered and is going to tell me how much it's going to cost me. Nice.

Generally I do not buy extended warranties but the price was good for the number of years and I’ve had family and friends who have had very good service with Best Buy on extended warranties.

I feel the need to have a 5 year warranty on any product because things can unexpectedly go wrong. Even though the dryer I purchased is a high quality dryer I need assurance with the 5 year protection plan in place. I've used the protection plan in the past because we purchase many and its user friendly. Thank you

Sometimes it can seem easy to pass on the warranty (where they get you)....being a believer in them helped us as we lost power last week and an item had a surge. Knowing it is repaired or replaced for free makes it worth it for unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances.

Geek squad 5-year services for an appliance purchase was a no-brainer. Best Buy services are a notch above those offered by Home Depot / Lowes for appliances. Highly recommend!

This was the 2nd group that came out as the first washer didn't work correctly. They also did a great job with installment.

When you buy an expensive washer, you would think a service plan isn't needed, but I guess that don't make them like they used. If you ever need service, it will cost more than the service plan. At less than 10% of the cost of our washer, we decided not to take chances - really, a big heavy appliance with moving parts, water, electricity and a circuit board, Murphy's law seems predestined but we're covered for a few years. Four stars because manufacturers should make washers last more than 5 years, otherwise the pricing seems ok.

I’ve owned my washer for a couple years now. A discontinued Samsung front loader that was supposed to be top of the line. It’s a great washer when operational, but unfortunately, not working. Fixing it under factory warranty was great. But now that factory warranty is over, I’m faced with what is turning out to be the most impossible task to-date. Getting a tech out to fix my washer through the Geek Squad Protection plan. Countless time wasted on the phone scheduling appointments and listening to the service agents regurgitate the same prompt while informing me that “Your appointment has been cancelled because there is no tech available.” Constant time off work, or time blocked off from doing other daily chores while waiting for an appointment that will ultimately not show. Not only that, but I’m having to reach out to them to find out what’s going on with the appointment. This is a horrible experience and I’ve come to the conclusion that this service is a waste of time and money. Now I’m stuck waiting for someone to fix my inoperable washer with a household of five for two weeks! FYI, my appointment is now rescheduled for the third time. Just replace my washer at this point.

Just purchased this for a dryer. The price for the 3 year was better than most competitors, along with the comfort that a technician would be local and prompt. We'll see.

We haven't used it yet, because the washer/dryer is working well.

I always buy Best Buy warranty with anything that I buy on Best Buy, the only place that I trust buying I had only wonderful experience so far , I am a costumer for over 18 years .

The washer and dryer is amazing. It cleans the clothes very well. It has the extra features of sanitizing your clothes. Good to have for virus. Extra large tub for comforters to clean. Excellent washer and dryer.
