    Do Not use Geek squad TV Install

    We purchased a TV for delivery to our daughter and purchased the "Geek Squad TV Connect" along with it for $99.99. Scheduling the Geek Squad install was impossible. We spent over 3 hours on the phone on 3 separate calls to try and schedule, but for some reason our daughter's address can not be entered as the install address. Instead, the Geeks are showing up at our door (the billing address). We asked to just cancel the TV install portion and get our $99.99, and they said they can't do that. We asked to cancel the entire order, and they can't do that either. We've gone to a store in person twice now to try and get this mess resolved...no help. We were told our only option is to receive the TV and have our daughter return it to a store for refund, then the $99.99 will refund along with it. What a nightmare!

    Had me waiting all morning for them to show. Even with calling 3 times to confirm they were coming.... Sales person didn't know what she was doing and everyone else couldn't explain why they didn't come... After they make the sale and take your money, it appears they don't care... Wasted my time. Also had to fight and wait over a month for my refund....

    they have charged me twice-then when they finally came out-they said they couldnt do what i had requested and paid for. Geek guy said he would report it and i would get a full refund-that was December 14, 2013.Today is February 1, 2014-not heard a word-no refund on my credit card-when i call them-i am on hold forever and i hang up.

    Tech was great. We just moved and he was unable to mount our tv. He said there would be no charge. Waiting for my credit on Amex.

    The only service covered under this plan is plugging in the TV. Don't bother. Do it yourself!

    Home theater and TV do not work after geek squad "mounted and set up" system. And near impossible to get them back to fix it. System not working for 5 days - will see if they make it better if they ever return.

    My housekeeper fixed the mess they made

    I ordered this service because i am not tech savvy. The geek squad guys were very nice , but did not do what was needed. When my housekeeper came the the next week, i asked if he thought the pic was good. He said your old tv looked better. He looked behind the television and told me i had a wire jungle back there. He reran all the wires explaining there were no direct hdmi wire connections and that they were all bridged. It took him 5 minutes to redo it and my pic was amazing. A week later my friend told me i didn't have the best pic because i didn't have the 4k 2.0 wires. i bought them and the pic was even better. I am now waiting weeks for someone to call me back and offer a solution. How sad. I am an elite customer and feel as though no one could care at all about the service provided.

    Jake from the Geek Squad was fantastic with mounting and setting up my new TV. An asset to Geek Squad. Also, the service was fantastic. Took care with the mess and I did not feel rushed what-so-ever

    I had an awful experience with them. First, once I purchased the service, I called and set up an appointment. I had to take a 1/2 day of work. When they didn't show up, I called and they had no record of my call or setting up the appointment. Then, I had difficulty rescheduling. They only give you a 4 hour window of time and of course it is always during hours I work. Do not use them. It was overall one of the most frustrating experiences ever after losing 2 half days of work. Oh yeah, there is no refund...

    We had a problem at my work we couldn't figure out unfortunately the tech couldn't fix the problem because we needed to order a new computer but his solutions he gave which we're three allowing us several options WORKED so thanks!
