I had a coupon to spend, and found this CD which I thought I would like. Turns out it is very similar to one I already own, many of the same songs on it. I think they just changed the album cover for this edition. Anyway, I like the music - good Christian hymns performed in a nice style, not too old and stodgy, not too contemporary.

I really love this purchase. I bought 3 boxes of cd's that were on sale and I plan on giving them as gifts. A beautiful collection of hymns. A classic a must have if you like hymns. A must have

My mom loves this music and enjoys listening to the CD at least a few times a week. The memories of the songs brings back stories and thoughts of years and experiences that we all get to hear about intermittently. It's worth every penny for our parents/grandparents. Try it some time.

Nice selection of songs very relaxing and uplifting

I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to this collection of hymns. There is a good mix of traditional hymns and some more contemporary hymns, solo voices (both male and female) as well as choir. Listen to it all the time while driving to church.

I was at Best Buy and found several cds on sale and this Hymns cds set is great. They picked some great hymns to put on this cd set. Looking fwd to getting more cds from Best Buy soon.

My special needs son loves to listen to christian music. We have one cd in the car and the other one is in his room. He loves the music!!

The songs on this disc are single verses and therefore you get a lot of songs for a very reasonable price. Great listening in the car.

I love southern gospel music. This was more like choir music and sounded good but just not my preference.

A bit older hymns than what I expected. Still works for me.

I did not hear many "popular/best" hymns as the title described

I did not know the hymns very well on CD2. Perhaps they are not sung at my church or maybe it is a denomination issue.

Great to listen to old time hymns by a great artist that was very popular and still is fun to listen.
